Finally, some good f***ing names.

Alright, so how do I do this? I don't really want to kill those four guys, cause the amount of experience I get won't be much, so there is really no point. Also, I need to find a way to get to the next floor, 6, and they might just know it.

"I'm not going to attack, don't worry. The only reason I killed those three is because, well.. They are morons." I said and put my hands up in the air, to show that I'm not willing to fight. I also put the manipulators into my inventory.

Everyone silently stared at me.

"Sorry, I meant "were" morons, not "are". You know, cause they're already dead? Come on, you can't just stand there with those looks on your face and not say a single word." I was getting a little uncomfortable, since I also put away the manipulator which I used as support so that I could stand.

The mage looked at the rest of the team, the archers, and walked up to them. They started making up a plan to escape from me, with the premice that I'm ill in the head. The sad thing is, I can't even deny it.

Well, my mental fortitude got very strong thanks to having some experience with killing humans before, and earlier I had the help of [cold blooded], leading me to become completely unbothered by someone's death. I've also had a lot of near death experiences myself, which only added to it.

"Hey, hey, I can hear you, you know that? I'm getting tired of standing on one leg, so would you please at least hear me out?" I asked an pointed at my leg, and only then did I realize why eevryone was staring at me like that.

"Oh, right. I forgot about that. These are.. the traditional clothes from where I live." I made up a little exuse. I was actually wearing a pretty weird outfit, if you were to judge by the standards of this world.

Back on earth, it was winter, so my room was quite cold, and I wore some skins* under my clothes instead of turning on the heating.

(*skins are tight, elastic clothes that you can wear under you normal clothes, or as a standalone outfit. Look up "skins clothing" if you have no idea what I'm taling about.*)

Once I was summoned to this world, it was warm here so I didn't need to wear them, which is why I put them into my inventory. During the fight with the cerberus, my normal clothes got burnt, and I ended up wearing the skins instead.

The people looked at each other, nodded, and put their bows down. They also took their helmets off, revealing their faces. Oh, they were all female. I guess the pike-dudes only added girls to their team, hah.

"Thanks you!" One of the women, an archer, bowed her head.

"Um. What? I mean, I'm glad you calmed down, but what's with that all of a sudden? You do realize I killed three of your teammates?" I looked at them with a face of confusion.

"Oh, these men? Yeah, we've been with their team for over a year, but we didn't have much of a choice." She took a glance at the dead pike-men.

"Okay, but that doesn't explain why you thanked me." I asked another question and sat down.

"You see, these dirt-bags forced us to join their team, and threatened to burn our families' homes down if we didn't do as told." She had a disgusted look on her face.

"Couldn't you just kill them yourselves?" Either they were really dumb, or they had some other reason which I wouldn't mind knowing.

"Isn't it obvious?"

"No, not really."

"Fine, I'll explain." - She sighed - "If you kill a party member, the other party members will get a notification with the killer's name. All three of them had their families added to the party, which meant that they will know if one of us killed them. But you, you are not a part of the party, so the notification just say [unkown] instead of your name." Throughout the whole explanation, she kept looking me in the eyes, to make sure I wasn't just joking.

After all, I've never actually invited anyone to a party before, so I had no idea that a system like that even existed.

"That clears a lot of things. But, I've got a favor to ask." I summoned a manipulator and held onto it with my left hand, kind of like an improved version of a walking cane, and used that to stand up.

"Go ahead." The woman cautiously replied.

"Can you take me to a village or, of there is one, a town. I've never been here before, so there's a lot I want to find out, and a populated area seems like the best way to do it."

"Oh, that's easy. But, are you sure that's enough? I mean, you helped us out quite a lot." Oh, that's interesting. A person who is willing to help for free is pretty hard to find, especially in this world.

"Yeah, I'm sure. Lead the way." And with that, we headed towards the town. Or village. I'll find out when we get to it, I guess.

We've been walking for a little while now, and somebody, for the first time, finally decided to break the silence.

"Umm, Si-sir? How should I adress you?" Oh, that's a voice I havent heard before.

I to the left and saw the mage, who, unlike the rest of her team, was still wearing her battle gear, but I suppose a cloak and a magician's hat can also be worn as normal clothes since they look pretty comfortable.

"The name's River." A short reply.

"No need to be so formal, by the way. What are your guys' names?" I asked the whole group.

"I'm named after my mom, Pepsi." Said the mage.

Haha, is that a real name? I've said it once and I'll say it again, the naming system in this world is fucked and I love it.

Conversations are a lot harder to write than normal plot, so chapters take longer to make. Don't have anything to say this time, bye~
