An Annoying Ex

His lips brushed mine and as usual my body shook with suppressed need.

He took my lips with his, roughly, his hands running over my body as I moaned my pleasure. My own hands roved his body, lingering over the hard muscles on his chest.

I became frantic to touch his bare skin and popped a couple of buttons and he chuckled against my lips "My little wildcat" before pulling back and tapping me on the end of the nose with his index finger.

"We're in public so we better stop now because if we carry on I'll take you right here in front of everyone"

I blinked up at him, trying to clear the lust filled fog from my mind, but Blade was looking at me like I was the most adorable creature so instead of calming down I tried to climb him like a tree per Lanes earlier advice.

Laughing, Blade squeezed me to him, then set me down away from him and handed me a tall, ice cold glass of water.

"Drink this and cool down kitten"

Smiling at him gratefully I obediently took a massive gulp then set it on the counter next to him. I had something to say but I was blushing just thinking about it! Gathering my courage I closed my eyes tight and decided to just go for it.

"Bladewillyoustaywithmetonight?"

After about 5 seconds of Blade not replying I opened my eyes to see Blades attention was riveted on something over my shoulder. Following his eyeline I saw a tall, massive boobed redhead staring at MY fakeancé.

I didn't like the way they were looking at each other and I definitely didn't like the rock that just fell into my stomach!

I looked around surreptitiously for Lane needing my girls back up as the red head approached but she and Nate were nowhere to be seen, probably already on the way home to bed.

"Blade, I see you've been keeping my place in your bed warm with this cheap girl but I'm back now so tell her to run along"

As she spoke she ran one long nail down the front of his shirt and along the space where there used to be buttons before I ripped them off in a fit of passion.

Stepping forward and squeezing in between the thot and Blade I stood as tall as my 5ft 1in size would let me and used my own finger to poke her chest

"Cheap girl?! You're the cheap girl! Your whole family's a cheap girl!"

Blade had already lifted me over his shoulder fireman style and was leaving the bar hastily so the last was shouted at her from his shoulder like a madwoman.

Once outside Blade deposited me in the back of the car and told Briggs to take me home before turning to go back into the bar without a word to me. My mouth dropped in shock but I can tell you if he seriously thinks that behaviour is ok then he's crazy!

Jumping back out of the car, possibly entering crazy woman territory, I charged after Blade, grabbing his sleeve moments before he stepped back into the bar.

"What is going on? Are you seriously sending me home to go hang with that bitch?"

Blades eyes narrowed at me when I called the red head a bitch and he pushed my hand from him furiously.

"Get in the car and go home, I'll deal with you later."

"You must be joking, she insulted me and then put her hands all over you when we had just been kissing and I'm the one you're mad at?"

Pinching the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger Blade sighed deeply before looking back at me.

"Katrina and I were together for years, seeing us together must have hurt her, she's been out of the country for the last year so she won't have heard of our engagement, I need to go and make sure she's ok and explain that it's fake and we don't have a relationship."

I felt as if I'd been punched and I know I visibly flinched when he said that and he looked at me with pity which made me want to throat punch him. Laughing bitterly I turned and went back to the car, my back straight, head held high.

I had Briggs drop me at my old place for the night after I collected some essentials from Blades house. As the fakeancé business was only temporary I was still renting my own place and I was never more glad as I really needed a place to escape too today.

I had to admit to myself that I had started falling for Blade, that he was the only man I had ever been attracted too so he had a certain level of power over my body, but after the humiliation he had just dealt me I would not succumb again.

Feeling my phone vibrate in my pocket I saw it was a FaceTime request from Lane and needing my bestie I answered quickly. From the loud background noise I realised Lane hadn't left the bar before - had I known that I wouldn't have left either!

"What the hell Tash, who is this ho all up on your man?"

Squinting at the screen I could see Blade with Katrina practically sitting on his lap. No matter how many pep talks I had given myself I wasn't prepared for seeing him with someone else and the tears filled my eyes.

"Oh honey don't cry, where are you?"

"I'm at my place for the night, I don't ever want to see him again I definitely can't sleep there!"

"I'm sleeping with you tonight be there in 30"

I was crying and smiling at the same time. Seeing Blade with Katrina hurt badly but I was lucky because I had an amazing, true best friend!
