Adulting

Lane had cackled like crazy when I'd told her my plan for tonight but I was starting to feel a little sick with nerves! To be fair, I wasn't actually taking revenge, I was merely doing like the prez and inviting another guest.. if that drove him crazy that was just a bonus!

Smoothing down my dress I checked my reflection wanting to look as good as possible for the night. My waist length hair was worn down with loose waves flowing down my back. I can't actually do foundation and contouring as I don't have an artistic bone in my body so I had just done my usual mascara and clear lip gloss which was enough to highlight my features.

I absolutely loved my dress, it didn't cost much, only around 20 dollars, but it was my absolute favourite, it was a white, long sleeved, off-the-shoulder dress that was fitted to accentuate my small waist before flaring out and ending mid-thigh. We were dining at home so I had paired all this with a pair of panda slippers!

As happy as I was going to be with my reflection I grabbed my phone to check the time. Finn had agreed to arrive at sevenish around the same time as Lane and Nate. I didn't know what time Katrina would be arriving.

I had prepared the dinner and tried to make dishes that were simple and wouldn't require me to do anything once the guests were here as this was my first time having a dinner party I didn't want to be absent too much.

Just as I was reaching my bedroom door, ready to go down and face the music, there was a knock and Blade waltzed in like he owned the place.. which he did actually..

"Tasha you look lovely, are you ready to go down?"

Smiling I took his proffered arm and we made our way downstairs.

"I've done a western menu, we're having soup to start, then pasta and there's fruit and melted chocolate for dessert."

Blade smiled down at me and I looked away quickly not wanting to get seduced again.

"It sounds great, though I was expecting cakes for each course"

A giggle escaped me before I could stop it and I elbowed him in the side.

"No teasing I'm trying to adult over here!"

Snickering Blade looked like he was going to say something however he was interrupted by Aunty Zhou announcing Katrina's arrival and I forced myself not to pout like a spoiled brat.

As Katrina stepped into the living room I was struck by her beauty - I'd been too incensed at our first meeting to have noticed anything but her giant boobs! I had to grudgingly admit, as Blade greeted her warmly, that they looked gorgeous together.

"Katrina, this is the lovely Tasha."

The redhead towered over me and I felt like a child playing dress up in her mummy's clothes. Smiling warmly I held out my hand to shake hers but instead she hugged me and my face somehow ended up smooshed right in her cleavage.

"It's so lovely to meet you, I'm so sorry for what I said last time we met"

I couldn't respond whilst being suffocated by her breasts, I could just imagine the headline now, President Nights fiancé killed by a pair of massive boobs.. I would die how I lived - embarrassed!

Finally breaking the embrace I took in a gasping breath, sending a prayer of thanks to the heavens for not killing me in such an awful way, then realised I still hadn't said anything.

"Lovely to meet you too Katrina, I imagine we'll be seeing a lot more of each other so it's a good chance to get to know each other."

Blade was smiling at me like I was his pet and had just rolled over on command and Katrina seemed sweet so all in all I think I was just a bitter nasty woman and I should probably cancel Finn's loving appearance. Of course life is never that easy so of course as soon as I had that thought Aunty Zhou was showing in Finn, Lane and Nate!

We all said our hellos and I could see Blade sending me a questioning look when I introduced Finn to him but they shook hands and all seemed fine so I figured I was in the clear which is, as they say, famous last words.

Blade was seated at the head of the table, I was on his right with Katrina on his left. Lane was next to Katrina, Finn was next to me with Nate on his other side.

"Tash you have a little something."

I turned to Finn and his thumb brushed against my bottom lip and he then sucked his thumb into his own mouth! Gasp an indirect kiss!

"Mmm soup"

I know my face was flaming and Lane snorting trying to hold in her laughter was not helping me regain my composure! I glared at Finn and Lane, they were making my plan way too obvious, but when I turned back to Blade expecting his usual mocking smirk, instead it looked as if a thunder cloud had descended. He was livid.
