Transmigrated! [First Life]

When Henry finally felt it was bright, he slowly opened his eyes. His eyesight was still blurry. But it was still enough for him to realise, he was not outside or under a tree. He was in a room. But it was his first time seeing such a beautiful background.

Well, Obviously he would never get to see, because he used to live in a shady house.

He slowly moved his head and found out it was still painful. But much better. But he couldn't move. So he just stayed still until something happened.

As he was waiting, he heard a door opening sound. And there were also sounds of footsteps.

"Is he awake?"

Henry heard a man talking.

"He just woke up. So please don't do anything now."

A woman answered him. But Henry clearly felt her voice trembling.

"Don't you dare give me advice. I will take care of it. Now, get out!"

Only that man left in the room while others left. Henry's sight was still blurry. Other than the voices, Henry couldn't see their faces clearly.

"Henry, don't act. I know you heard them talking. Tell me what you heard. Or else I will throw you out of the mansion!"

That man walked closer to the bed Henry was laying on and bent a little closer to Henry's face.

"Ah...Excuse me sir, who are you? And what am I doing here? Can you call my guardian, please? I want to go home."

Henry finally let out what he wanted. But he noticed a slight change in the face in front of him.

Maybe his expression changed. He couldn't see clearly even though he was close.

"What guardian? Henry, stop playing. Tell me what you heard!"

His voice got louder and it startled Henry.

"Excuse me, is this how you treat a sick person? What a cruel man!"

Henry also talked back as loud as he could. As he talked, he realised his vision was getting better. He shook his head a little thinking it might help. It actually worked. He could see everything clearly without any blur.

But the next moment he wished he would have gone blind.

Because the face in front of him had a very furious expression that made him shiver.

After the man saw him opening his eyes and looking at him with fearful eyes, he moved away and sat on the chair next to the bed.

"Henry! Did you lose your memory?"

He looked concerned. But Henry knew the concern was not about him. But also something else.

"How could I know? I don't even know you."

'Even if I got transmigrated somewhere, I will still play like I lost my memory. Well... Isn't that what is going on here? I don't know anything anyway'

Henry decided to play dumb in order to figure out what was going on.

"Sigh... What a nuisance!"

The man scratched his head and called someone outside.

"Bring Arthur here! Now!"

As the man said, that trembling voice sounded.

"Yes sir."

"Excuse me, what is going on here? Can you tell me please?"

Henry couldn't just wait. He wanted to know. He was very curious.

"..."

Seeing that man didn't want to answer, Henry felt very annoyed. He couldn't just keep his mouth.

"Why are you so arrogant? Can't you just answer a few questions? Is it that fucking hard? Then you should not have yelled at me in the first place. Huh! Don't you have any manners? Fuck you!"

He originally had a wild way of talking.

The stress of ending up at an unknown place and getting wounded was released out of that man. But that man didn't seem to listen to him.

"Shout as much as you want. But remember you are only 14 years old. Don't talk like a grown-up! Control your language. Or else it will ruin my reputation."

He didn't even look at Henry. But Henry had already gone speechless. That's when he remembered to look at himself.

'14 years old?'

He extended his hands and looked at his tiny hands. It looked even younger than a 14-year-old. He felt more like it was 10 or 8.

He knew he was still a boy. That boy had long dark black hair, as if a girl's hair. His hair was very long to reach his waist and that hair was all over his body because it was loosened.

And that's when he moved his hands and checked his head. He remembered there was a wound on his head. But his head was alright other than that pain which gave him goosebumps. There was no bandage. There were no marks of a wound.

'How did they even treat it?'

He got confused even more. But he didn't ask any more questions, because he knew that man wouldn't answer.

It didn't take much time for that guy called Arthur to come there. When the man beside him noticed his arrival, he got up and welcomed him.

"Arthur, I think he has lost his mind after getting hit."

He said with no expression. As he said the guy called Arthur, turned to Henry.

"Ah? Duke, can you please pay attention to your words? It might affect your son's health."

Henry looked at Arthur and then at that man.

'Duke? Father?'

Everything he said a moment ago flashed in front of him. He talked very badly to him. And he turned out to be a duke and also his father.

'Fuck!'

'Then I must be in a historical timeline. From their dresses, I can say my guess was right.'

Arthur, the guy who came there, looked handsome indeed. He was wearing a long grey coat. And he had a bag that looked made out of wood. It was like a suitcase. And the round-rimmed glasses, his gentle and elegant movements made Henry take a liking to him.

"Henry, how do you feel now? Much better?"

He asked very friendly and sat beside Henry in the bed.

"It hurts, but I can bear it. But I don't remember anything. And he also didn't tell me anything."

Henry looked at the man behind them and said to Arthur.

"A memory loss? Don't worry. I can help you gain your memory back."

As Arthur said, more than Henry, it was the father who looked excited.

"Can you help him? I really need to know something important from him."

He approached Arthur and said after staring at Henry who did not react.

'Will it be okay if I gain memory? At least, it can be helpful.'

Henry was immersed in his thoughts. He came back to his senses again when Arthur called him.

"Henry! Henry! Hey, are you okay? Can you get up?"

Arthur asked when he saw Henry looking at him.

"Ah..."

Henry got up and leaned on the bed headboard.

He never expected what happened next. He thought he would get some kind of bitter thing to drink to gain his memory. But all he saw was a calming light waving in front of him.

That's when he realised something.

'This world has magic!'

A light popped out of Arthur's palm. It was shaped like a rope and wrapped around Henry's hand. He looked amazed. He watched the scene with great interest.

When it was more than ten minutes, he felt something light in his body. He felt so happy unnaturally. He smiled but he didn't intend to do it.

Then again he got a horrible headache. That's when all the memories of this 14-year-old Henry, started to flash in Henry's mind.

After he saw everything, he really regretted transmigrating here, especially as this boy.

Because he finally recalled where he knew this story. And he knew this boy, Henry who had neither a good life nor a good end.
