Chapter 165 — Li Junmo Comes Home

Speaking of which, the fact that Li Junmo adored his older brother was also due to Li Qianye's instigation. While he was growing up, Li Qianye would always tell him that Li Chuanmo was his brother and that he should emulate him.

He would always praise Li Chuanmo to him, talking about how intelligent and excellent he was at everything. Due to his constant blowing of rainbow farts, Li Junmo grew up seeing Li Chuanmo in an almost holy light.

"Sorry." Li Qianye apologized to his wife, before dragging his son by his shirt collar, away from Li Chuanmo's arms. "Rascal, didn't you see your parents here?"

"Ouch Dad. I thought you were already old, how can you still be so high-handed?" Li Junmo said humorously, straightening his shirt after getting out of his father's grip.

Turning to Zhang Heying, he said, "Mum, this husband of yours is as energetic as ever. His smack is still so painful. What are you feeding him with?"

Zhang Heying said proudly, "You should trust your mother. I don't disappoint."

"That's my Mum!" Li Junmo flattered, sounding very much like Li Yuchen.

Li Junmo gave his mother and father hugs in turn and amidst the bustling airport, their family of four shared a boisterous reunion.

He then turned back to his brother after looking around. "Big brother, where's sister-in-law?"

Li Chuanmo spoke while sending a message with his phone, "She didn't come today, but she knows you've arrived and is looking forward to meeting you."

Zhang Heying also added by the side, "You would definitely like her, you'll see. I've invited her for lunch over the weekend, so you'll meet her then."

"That's great. I'll finally get to meet the person that has stolen my big brother's heart and put smiles on his perpetually frozen face." Li Junmo said excitedly. Li Chuanmo gave him a familiar look though, and he kept quiet instantly.

When he looked away however, Li Junmo muttered, "He hasn't changed at all. Dear sister-in-law, you have so much work to do!"

They soon got to the parking lot, talking and laughing all the way until the family's Aston Martin came into sight.

Wu Taehan got down from the car immediately he saw them approaching.

"Welcome back Second Young Master!" He greeted Li Junmo enthusiastically, while the latter clasped his hand with the same amount of enthusiasm.

There was no worker in the Li family that didn't like Li Junmo. He was very extroverted and got along well with everyone since he was a child.

Wu Taehan then collected Li Junmo's luggage and put it in the car boot, while the family piled into the car. Li Junmo sat in the front with Wu Taehan, while the rest sat at the back.

Soon, they were off.

Looking at the barren trees and beautiful landscape as the car whizzed past, Li Junmo remarked, "City M hasn't changed much. It was so cold when I got out of the plane, I shivered."

Li Qianye nodded, "Some things never change. Despite the climate changes reported all over the country, our city's temperature has only dropped one or two degrees, but it's still as harsh as ever."

Li Junmo nodded before asking conversationally, "So how are you enjoying your retirement Dad? Since Big brother returned, I'm sure you've had a lot of time on your hands. What have you been up to?"

Li Qianye replied with all seriousness, "I've been very busy pleasing my wife."

Li Junmo: "...."

He groaned loudly while Li Chuanmo directly plugged his ears with his Bluetooth headset and pretended to be air. He knew what was coming.

Sure enough, Li Qianye continued proudly, "Don't you know how much of a full-time job pleasing one's wife is? I have to be at her beck and call. I'm too busy making her happy to do any other thing. Besides, we share similar hobbies, so we are having the time of our lives, right Wifey?"

Zhang Heying nodded with soft, bashful eyes.

Although Li Junmo wasn't looking at them, he accurately imagined the affection they were displaying behind him, and he cringed, "Mom and Dad, you guys are too old to be doing this."

Zhang Heying instantly gave him a slap at the back of his head. "Watch your mouth young man, what do you know? You had better learn from us, and don't learn from your Big brother who didn't even know how to coax the woman he likes."

Li Chuanmo that was dragged into the fight even though he was an innocent bystander: "..."

He sighed, but still thought it was important to point something out, "That was in the past Mother. I'm a pro now."

Zhang Heying wrinkled her pretty nose in delicate disbelief while Li Junmo laughed out loud, "Big brother, so you're not perfect after all. This is an incredible discovery!"

Li Chuanmo ignored the taunt. What does he know? He could come back to trade words with him after falling in love.

After laughing, Li Junmo directed the next question to his mother, "By the way Mom, has that girl contacted you?", to which he received another soft slap at the back of his head, "Can't you talk properly? Is your sister the one you're referring to as "that girl"?"

Li Junmo couldn't dodge in time and rubbed the back of his head, "Mom! Can you not hit my head without warning? I'm even better than her anyway, she calls me "that brat". I'm still very polite in comparison!"

"When she returns, I'll make sure she learns manners. Both of you should not disgrace our family outside. To answer your question though, yes. She said she's going to come back with next tomorrow's flight."

The twins studied in different countries, had different personalities and had been in a love-hate sibling relationship since childhood.

"I see. I texted her but she told me to mind my business. Is that how one talks to their elder brother? You should talk to her about that too Mom." Li Junmo was forever proud of the fact that he was born a "whole" three minutes earlier than Li Lianmo.

Zhang Heying rolled her eyes internally. 'Elder brother my foot.' She muttered. Technically, since she had a cesarean section, he wasn't even born first.

He was just "brought out" first by mistake.

"It's good that you're both going to be home for a period of time. You need some reorientation. " Zhang Heying said, her tone sounding so no-nonsense that Li Junmo gave a fake shudder. "You've become scarier Mom. Is your husband not pleasing you enough?"

Zhang Heying made to give him another slap, but he dodged it expertly. "Mom, if you slap the back of my head one more time, I might grow bald!"

His mother thought the better of it and eventually put down her hand. But while Li Junmo was feeling happy, his father slapped his head. "That's for dissing my precious wife."

Li Junmo: "..."

"Big brother, save me!!!!"

Li Chuanmo, who was busy texting Pei Yueran, didn't even raise his head. He only said, "Your mouth was bound to make you fall into trouble sooner or later."

"Big brother!"
