183 — Married Life After The Mothers' Arrival (1)

"Qianhua! Philip! Where did they go?" Mother Su wondered aloud. Jiang Philip said he was going to quickly go ask Su Qianhua what she wanted to eat, but he had been gone for more than fifteen minutes. Was her daughter that indecisive?

Puzzled at the lack of response, she moved towards Jiang Philip's bedroom. She knew Su Qianhua liked to nap there.

Hearing her footsteps, Jiang Philip wanted to break the kiss, but Su Qianhua held him fast. Not only did she tighten her hands around his waist, she also grinded against him for good measure.

Jiang Philip lost his head and they continued to kiss. One hand cupped her abdomen while the other hand roamed over her body.

Sighing in pleasure, Su Qianhua transferred her hands from his waist to his hard abs and back. The feel of his hard muscles against her palms never ceased to make her feel intoxicated.

They finally sprang apart when Mother Su knocked on the door, the thin line of glistening saliva between them stretching a bit before breaking.

While Jiang Philip went to open the door, Su Qianhua adjusted her clothes. This was the main reason why she was against the mothers coming to stay with them.

"I've been calling the both of you. What were you guys up to?" Mother Su asked suspiciously when she saw him looking out of breath.

"Nothing much Mom." He didn't, couldn't possibly share the details of their quick making out.

He carefully kept his body turned away from her line of sight in order to avoid embarrassing himself in front of his mother-in-law, while thinking about work and coding to help redirect blood from his lower body back to his brain.

Thankfully Mother Su wasn't looking at him. She narrowed her eyes when she saw her daughter's pink face. "So you were really up to something. I would be very cross with the both of you if anything happens to my grandson."

Su Qianhua sighed, "We didn't do anything Mom. You're overthinking things."

The time wasn't even enough. They were together for barely fifteen minutes. Even though she wanted to do something more exciting, Jiang Philip was not as adventurous.

First, he worried that their activities the night before was too much and may have affected her health. Then he kept worrying that one of the mothers would come and check up on them.

The mothers had sternly cautioned them against sharing a bed and doing anything together. Since they arrived, they had been watching them and trying to make sure they were not left alone together for too long. It was as if the slightest touch would cause Su Qianhua to miscarry.

It would have been hilarious if they weren't disturbing Su Qianhua's fun times. As it stood, they were pissing her off.

Take today for instance, she only had time to sit on his lap and kiss Jiang Philip before her mother came calling, and she had to spend more than five minutes convincing him first. It pained her terribly.

It was fun to see him lose his rational sense of reasoning due to her touch though, she mused. Grinding against him was as exciting as it was stimulating. She smiled anew at the thought of his breathless groans a few minutes ago.

"Qianhua? Qianhua! What are you thinking about?" Mother Su questioned. Her daughter was currently smiling to herself like a cat that stole a fish, looking silly.

Su Qianhua was brought out of her reverie. "Nothing Mom. When did you say you would be leaving again?"

Mother Su narrowed her eyes. "Not any time soon. Kathy agreed with me that it would be too dangerous to leave you two alone, and I can see she was right."

Su Qianhua groaned.

It had been a few weeks already, and she was very tired of sneaking into her husband's room at night like she was up to something immoral. They were married for crying out loud!

She decided to change the subject, "Where's Kathy?" Her mother-in-law insisted that she call her by name since Aunt Kathy sounded distant and "Mother-in-law" sounded even worse, according to her.

"She went to the supermarket. We're out of lemons and soy sauce. She should be back anytime from now."

"Alright. Since I can't spend some time alone with my husband, let's go and eat then." Su Qianhua said, getting up and walking out of the room.

Mother Su shook her head and addressed Jiang Philip who was still standing by the door, "Philip ah, don't say I'm the one preventing your marital bliss, but even the doctor said both of you must take it easy, no? There will be time enough after the baby comes."

"Yes Mom, we will take note of it. Sorry to worry you." Jiang Philip said. Reminding her that their doctor said it was now alright would not produce any results, so he didn't bother.

Looking at him speak with his head lowered, looking very contrite, Mother Su sighed and didn't say anything else. He must be feeling guilty and embarrassed, so she didn't want to make things unpleasant.

That wasn't what was on Jiang Philip's mind though. He was actually trying to stop relieving the few minutes he had with his wife.

In the past few weeks of marriage, he had discovered something important: He could hardly say "no" to Su Qianhua. Whenever she insisted on something or practiced one of her wiles on him, things like clear logic and reasoning ended up flying out of the window.

Take for instance three nights ago. When she sneaked into his room, she promised that she just wanted to talk to him and that she only came because sleeping alone was boring.

Against his better judgement, he made space for her on the bed, but what they ended up doing lasted almost till dawn, and it definitely wasn't "just" talking.

It seemed this wife of his would be the death of him sooner or later. The main point was that he didn't seem to mind. He was enjoying every bit of his married life. The lovemaking for sure, but also the smiles, the cuddles, the talks, the mundane tasks.

It was all pure bliss.

"Philip!" Mother Su called from the kitchen.

"Coming Mom!" Jiang Philip replied before hurrying out. He met his mother in the kitchen as well.

"You're back Mom." He said by way of greeting.

Kathy was busy telling Su Qianhua to just sit down, so she merely hummed at her son. Su Qianhua, who wanted to help her set the table sat down obediently. She was getting used to Kathy treating her like porcelain.

Today's lunch was oriental themed and comprised of three dishes and two soups. The hot and sour soup was mainly for Su Qianhua, while the others had winter melon soup.
