174 — Is Being Psycho Contagious?

Tong Zhian sincerely wanted to cry but like the rest of his body, his tear glands had worked overtime and were currently deadbeat, so there were no tears. If he knew, he would have left the documents for later. They weren't even that important. Was it too late to go back outside?

"Why are you still dawdling? Come here quickly." Gao Tinghua's impatient tone woke Tong Zhian up and made him move.

It was just work, he would survive. "Who sir?" He asked as he walked forward.

"Pei Yueran. The lady from before. But this time, look into her family background. Her parents, their jobs, where they live, everything." He ordered as he pushed the drawing closer to Tong Zhian, maybe to jog his memory.

Tong Zhian swallowed the response that had risen to his throat and just nodded. At this point, he didn't even know his job description anymore. He was doing so many things that the job title of "personal assistant" just didn't apply to.

One thing was sure. He could definitely work as a private investigator now. Once he resigned, he would go on a long trip before opening a private investigation agency.

As a matter of fact, he had made up his mind to resign within the week.

He was still thinking about the resignation letter he had drafted that was lying in his email box when he heard his boss speak, "You'll be rewarded handsomely, along with a three months paid leave once the job is done."

Tong Zhian instantly became energetic. "Yes sir." Anyway, men died for money the same way birds died for food. Besides, he needed money to buy a new house and quickly marry his girlfriend before she becomes his ex.

Most importantly, the idea of a paid leave was amazing!

He was already planning to change the date on his resignation letter. "I'll just treat this as planning for my retirement," he said to himself.

"And the new secretary will resume in a week," Gao Tinghua added.

The mere fact that he was saying these things was plenty scary because he was not the type to offer information of any kind to his subordinates, but Tong Zhian was too happy to care.

He would soon be free!

He almost saluted as he responded, "Alright sir."

After leaving the office, he took some minutes to log into the forum "P.As Share All" and leave another message:

He conveniently ignored the message he had posted less than twenty minutes prior.

He also did not look at the fifteen comments that were mostly consoling him and telling him he had made the right decision, that something better will definitely come his way, etc.

After posting, he went to do Gao Tinghua's bidding, ending up doing overtime. He was so tired that he didn't even go back to the forum.

By the time he checked it the next morning, there were over five hundred replies.
