Chris and April was trying their best not to lose their temper with Rachel. Chris reminded April, no matter what she must keep cool, they have the company and family image to uphold. April nodded her head in agreement. She knew they must resolve this matter on their own and must not depend on Jade because Jade should be dealing with whatever problem Mother had caused. She prays that both Derek and Jade would be safe. She looked around and she felt a little odd that Adam is no longer by her side. Ah, he told me he needed to go to the washroom.

"I want compensations and I want her fired. Dare she flirt with my date and purposely humiliate me in front of so many people." Rachel kept talking in a shrill annoying voice. Rachel was told by her aunt to cause some trouble and get everyone attention. She did not know for what and why but she knew she had to do it, she owed her aunt the status their family have now. Eventhough they are not the top or most famous at least one of the notable ones.

"Miss Tee, can you stop for a moment, and get changed into something more comfortable and then we sit down and discuss this matter in a civil manner? Can we?" Chris finally spoke out after assessing the situation and tried to disperse the crowd.

"Your waitress here, what professionalism? In the wrong yet she did not even offer me an apology. I don't like wearing other people's clothes and I don't have a spare to change into. I want this to be settle here and now!" Rachel insisted.

"Alright then, why don't you tell me in a calm manner regarding what happened earlier to cause you to be this furious with my staff? My staff here, Jennifer is it?" Chris read the name on the waitress tag, after receiving a nod from the waitress he continued to speak, "As I was saying, can you tell us the events that lead to this? Once you are done, I hope you can remain calm because I want to also hear Jennifer's version of the event." Chris spoke in a clear, authoritative yet soothing and calm voice.

"Why should you listen to her version? Are you accusing me that I lied?!" Rachel voice went up a notch higher clearly upset with Chris.

"I think you misunderstood me, I have not accuse you of anything, Miss Tee, a coin has two sides, every story also has two sides to it, even in the court of law, the accuser and the defendant has a chance to speak up, why should I condemn a good and hardworking staff just based on your words alone, I am now a neutral party, trying to figure out the root cause and then I'll take actions after I make a conclusion based on evidence presented. My suggestion to make this a private affair still stand, do you really want to settle it here and now? Or are you planning to continue it here with everyone watching?"

Rachel was a little flustered now, from the tone Chris used, it was a warning, he warned her. Did he know this is all a setup? Hah, I don't believe he have any evidence there is no CCTV here. Aunty had already assured me. Since when did Chris become this exceptional? Isn't he always lack confidence, and stayed in the shadow. A recluse, a bit like Jade but slightly better. Now, he has an aura of a leader, a king, an emperor. She felt a chill running down her spine.

"I want everything to be settle here, I don't want to eat a loss if we settle in private, at least here, people can attest to things and see that all this is conduct with transparency." Rachel gathered whatever courage she had and challenged Chris outwardly.

"Alright then, let's listen to your side, followed by Jennifer and then we will present the evidence. You are always welcome to embarrass yourself." Chris said in a nonchalant tone. He had received audio confirmation from the security team that Rachel was the one that purposely start the commotion. Thanks to Derek's latest technology, each waitress and waiter has a body camera to record their actions and the guests actions, this is a form of protection against these employees that often gets put in this kind of situation and can prevent unwanted incident as well.

Chris was satisfied with the way Jennifer carry herself through this situation, never once she escalated the situation at hand. He acted as if he was paying full attention to Rachel, in actual fact, he could not wait for her to finish. Since she wants to embarrass herself, he will help her achieve it. Once Rachel was done, it was Jennifer's turn to speak up. "I approached Miss Tee with my tray of champagne and suddenly she came real close to me, I felt a little intimidated because we were taught to keep a little distance between our guests, I took a few small steps backwards but she charged at me and purposely tip my tray towards her and started talking loudly to attract attention to us. I was too shocked to say anything plus we were taught to keep silent when guest makes thing difficult and wait at the side until the floor manager comes for assistance. If we are in the wrong, we should apologize and get the floor manager to come and manage the situation so that the situation doesn't get out of hand. The floor manager, Mr Gan did try his best to calm Miss Tee but she was adamant in making things difficult." Jennifer explained.

"You bitch, low life, lowly waitress...." roared Rachel as she was trying to get to Jennifer to give Jennifer a slap but was held back by two burly men. "Let me go!" she screeched. Some of the audience recorded the whole scenes on their smartphones.

"Let her go." Chris commanded and they complied. As he predicted, Rachel rushed towards Jennifer the moment she was released, but Chris stepped in front of Jennifer and shield Jennifer. He grabbed Rachel's hand that was already up in the air ready to strike down.

"Enough! have you embarrass yourself and your family enough? Is this how a socialite supposed to behave even Jennifer is behaving more dignify than you. Please conduct yourself better." Chris reprimanded Rachel.

Rachel was stunned by his words that she started sobbing at the side. April was enjoying the show at the side, she wanted to applaud loudly for Chris. She could see that Chris image had went up a few notches and had caused most of the single ladies to fall for him because he looked so cool protecting the weak Jennifer. April also had a sudden realization that in the past, she used to behave this way, so this is how stupid she appeared in past. Such a joke.

"Okay, enough. Can we present the evidence now? I am tired and I think everyone is tired and wants to go home. Plus Christmas is around the corner, I am sure some needs to make preparations for the celebration." Chris put on a tired look.

The big screen that was off suddenly lit up, and the whole event was on replay.
