The doctor managed to retrieve the bullet, the police took it away as evidence. Derek had scrutinized the bullet on pretext of curiosity after the bullet was removed. Derek caressed Jade's hair, he pushed her chin up and stared into her eyes. He was mesmerized by the amount of love in her eyes for him.
