Chapter 1Chapter 1

A/N: I'm a masochist so I now have two novels to write daily, how fun :)

I came to.

"Brother Gu?" said the speaker.

I remembered a couple things, and as a result, I realised something due to a recent memory:

A long-haired middle-aged man with white garments and a sparkling jade pendant spoke.

"Pettiness is not a desirable quality in a king. If you want to inherit the throne, you must put an end to this!"

Was he referring to me, as they are MY memories?

I-I was a prince?

I began to recall more information.

Long hours of meditation and... a status screen?

I was interested in seeing it.

''Status!''

Nothing.

A chuckle was heard.

Oh wait, I forgot I was being spoken to.

I noticed a small child in front of me.

He laughed, and said,

''You know you don't check your stats like that! All you need to do is think of it.''

Thinking..

A blue screen appeared in front of me.

[Name: Gu Ling

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Cultivation: Soul Strengthening

Cultivation Technique: Monarch's Reign

Notable Abilities: True Sight, Monarch's Foresight, Bow Intent]

W-what?

The name, the abilities, the cultivation level.. They all were very similar.

''Hey! Big bro!''

I heard the kid again, but I temporarily ignored him.

A few more memories started to resurface.

When I first used the ability Monarch's Foresight, I awakened my physique and unlocked an ability known as True Sight, which allowed me to peep at a person's talent in a certain skill, but it has a one-month cooldown and can only be used on the same person four times.

-I was the most likely heir to a kingdom known as the Myriad Element Dynasty's throne.

-My family's inheritance and what propelled them to prominence was a stat sheet that was only available to them, detailing their cultivation, powers, and growth, not to say their ridiculously high talent didn't help. I exhaled deeply and facepalmed. Goddamnit..

'Gu Ling', also known as 'Cockroach Trash', or 'Arrogant Young Master no.420', depending on who you asked. I'm him now, huh? Albeit the world I'm now living in is a bit more technologically advanced than my old one, despite it being cultivation.

''Big bro!''

I heard the kid's voice again, and responded.

''Hm?''

Who even was he?

I wasn't some literary specialist who knew the names of every character in the series, including the minor ones.

I remembered a little more.

My younger brother, 'Gu Jian.'

"What exactly do you mean by 'Hm'? I've been talking to you for a few minutes now, and you haven't replied!"

"Yeah, sure." My apologies."

I wasn't even paying attention to this kid. After all, I was fucking GU LING! Why me, Goddamnit?

I'm in a cultivation world with no amusement or things to do, and even if cultivation is fun 'cause I'm getting stronger, the stronger I become, the longer I live, and the longer I live, the more bored I'll slowly become, after trying everything life has to offer.

I dashed away from Gu Jian, searching for the nearest knife. If I got reincarnated once, it'll probably happen again, right?

I stabbed forward.. and then stopped myself.

I realised I didn't have the will to do it.

I sighed and thought of the next option for me.

I couldn't think of any others that involved leaving this place.

Well then, I guess I'll try living in a cultivation world?

First matter of business: Changing out of these uncomfortable-ass clothes, and creating toothbrushes(a cultivator's breath must smell like shit after millions of years of living, right?). After that, we'll try and find entertainment somehow.. hopefully.

A/N: short first chapter, but don't worry, average length will be ~1.5k. AMA about the novel in comments!

The Witch Hunter System

Dual cultivation isn't a choice; it's a necessity. After being struck by a truck like most lucky protagonists (or unlucky ones), Vaan found himself transmigrated into the body of an orphan in the world of witches and demons. However, they didn't always exist. Demons terrorized the world ever since the Gehenna Realm descended over 300 years ago. but along with them, came mana, giving birth to witches to combat these demons. Since then, the world of men was dominated by witches, establishing the seven witch kingdoms, which safeguards at the forefront of the demon invasion. In order to survive in the matriarchal society of the witch kingdoms, Vaan, like all other men who cannot use magic, had to learn how to service the witches to survive. Nevertheless, it did not come without its own benefits. Years of research have led the world to the discovery of intimacy between men and women could increase the witches' mana absorption. But at the same time, men could absorb some of this mana to improve their physique and lifespan. Thus, since then, an intricate relationship was formed between men and witches in the red-light districts. Love became casual, and dual cultivation is common. As a prodigy in the art of pleasing women, Vaan lived a smooth two years since his transmigration as an orphan. However, everything came crashing down in a heartbeat one day when his life was nearly taken, and Lady Eniwse whom he served went berserk. Even so, that was not the end. With the awakening of the Witch Hunter System, watch how Vaan takes on the world and becomes the lord of witches. ===== Genre: [Mature Content] [R-18] [Smut] [Magic] [Witches] [Demons] [Spirits] [Dragons] [Beasts] [Reincarnation] [Adventure] [Action] [Mystery] [Academy] [Weak-to-Strong] [Scheming MC] [Harem] [System] [Servants] [Slaves] [Smart MC] [Alchemy] [Forging] [Misunderstandings] [Game Elements] [Kingdom-Building] [Overpowered MC] ===== Note: Contains lemons. Book Title: The Young Master’s Idol Agency (Aimzay) Chapters 5/5 as of 5/29/22 Plot: Good Plot is a unique concept for a novel, Dude reincarnates into a web novel as a mob trash character. He then gets kicked out of his home for reasons. And meets the novels protagonist by accident. He notices she is trying to make money from streaming. And rationalizes that he can conquer the world by using Vtuber culture and the bombshell of an FL. Story flow: Convoluted Chapters are short, and pacing is a bit too fast. As in fast. Half the time I was lost what was happening. But overall, its only the 1st few chapters and the breezing through was to setup the main chunk of the novel the Vtuber culture. With Chapter 5 being the 1st taste, it appears like a awkward fit but we need to see where the author intends to lead us with this story. Favorite Chapter: Chapter 4 Ally Acquired? We finally met our MC. Beautiful and powerful as a cultivator. Straight to a fault and is wholly likable and proceeds to give her background she is struggling financially and trys to make money by streaming. She is not doing well. Luckily we have the MC. Favorite Character: Feng Qing Beautiful female lead, powerful cultivator and streams. Lol what is not to like. 3 things I liked 1. Vtuber Cultivator A very unique concept as cultivators is known to withdraw for cultivating sessions for long periods of time. However, them being arrogant individuals with loads of things to show off does in deed match being a vtuber. 2. Cultivators with Technology Another interesting concept, technology allows people to do thing beyond their normal capabilities. Cultivators improve their bodies and minds towards to limit to increase its ability. When would Cultivators use technology and when would they not. 3. TheSe*er Dude has a line in the novel, but is extremely noteworthy and hilarious, not for everyone though. 3 Things I didn't like 1. Short chapters Chapters are extremely short. Not enough to go on per chapter. 2. Pacing is too fast Pacing is very fast, not sure if its due to wanting to get to the good bits, but at 5 chapters the number of changes in chapter 1 to 3 are almost the entire plotlines of some books. 3. No background information on cultivation The concept of Vtuber Cultivators is the selling point, but not enough info is given for the cultivation aspects. Hard to follow or understand if the characters are strong or not. Actual review Unique concept and interesting premise, grammar and style of writing is good. Pacing for 1st 5 chapters is lightning fast. Will need to see if promise for meshing of Vtuber world and cultivation worlds are good.

OVERALL - I liked The Young Master’s Idol Agency and I would definitely recommend this to others. PLOT - It was simple yet surprisingly complex. I felt like the author is going on a spoof comedic tone but I assume there is also chance for action. CHARACTERS - MC Gu Ling has a system and it is not a complex system. He has the potential to grow and as far as I read, he seems likable which is far more than I could say for some other novels. Since the novel has only 5 chapters, there isn't much space for the other characters to shine. it's not in any way a bad thing. Every character needs time and space for them to grow and I feel the characters in this novel would become three dimensional well-defined characters. PACING - Pacing was fast, almost too fast. My humble opinion is that the author should slow down a bit and describe the world around and what the characters were thinking a little bit more. It'd be great if we see more third person view. IMMERSION -  As I mentioned above, because of the first person view, I feel like many things that could be done better are missing.  'Show, not tell' the author should take more time establishing  the world around and the characters to make us immerse. Don't take it that I didn't immerse myself, I just want to get immersed more which the author can definitely do. EDITING - There are no major grammar mistakes or story flaw errors that interrupted my reading. Granted I'm not a native English speaker but I enjoyed my reading without a problem
