After saying his previous line Kerren just stood there looking at Yusaya with his face full of smiles.

People around them didn't react at them talking before, but as Kerren said the line...

Everyone looked at them! There were no particular reason behind them looking, if that was a normal couple they would cheer or boo some ugly guy trying to get a beauty, but... that was Kerren who said it!

That Kerren who didn't care about anything! He didn't do a lot in the university, but still had a lot of fame! He hasn't done many things yet, but each more of his was something other people would only look up to!

Still. Yusaya herself, who it was adressed to... didn't feel to good about it...

- W-what do you mean by wife!? -- she couldn't keep her cool this time -- I did promise you anything, but... you cant just say it like that! -- she couldn't help but try to find a reason to de-escalate the situation!

- Do i have to explain what it means to be a wife? -- he said quietly -- Well, we'll marry and then we'll live together, will have several chi... -- as he was about to continue...

- Stop! I know who is a wife! I'm asking why would you ask that! -- at this point she really did look shy!

- Because you told me that i can ask for anything if i help you, right? -- he didn't care about the spectators, they wouldn't understand anyway -- So, i choose you! Why would i ask for one item from the treasury if i have an option to take it whole? -- he smiled at the end of the sentence -- Moreover, why are you so against it? Dont you think that our children will be really talented? -- he continued to pursue the matter she didn't want to hear the most!

- Stop about the children! Being your wife is out of the line, ask for something else! -- she was so shy that she couldn't even lift her head up! -- All of you! -- she then said loudly -- Scram! If i hear anyone talk about it i will kill you on the spot! -- she couldn't bear such a talk alone, yet in presence of so many people!

- Wifey, dont be so unreasonable! After all, if those people know that you are mine they wont dare to even look at you -- he looked like the happiest man alive now! Of course, it was just a play, he didn't need a wife... unless it brought him lots of benefits!

- STOP! -- she couldn't help but scream! -- I am now your wife and i will never be one! -- at this point she used her spells and ran away!

-* Another victory! Bahahaha! -- Kerren couldn't help but laugh inside of his mind. Of course, embarassing her wasn't his goal.

His main goal was bringing in something she would never angree to, then asking for something she wouldn't agree unless she had no other choice!

Thus, as his "reward" from taking all the blame for clearing this dungeon he'll ask for knowledge! What the reward was and what it's used for!

Of course, it was a gamble. If the item or whatever it was was useless or was just a normal artefact of enormous power he would lose... But it was highly unlikely that she would even look at that thing if it was as simple.

And so, he decided that it would be the best course of actions! His main goal was wealth, after all, losing something he didn't even know about wouldn't matter as much...

That, however, didn't account for this item being much more valuable than the rest of the rewards!

But... could he really take it? That girl, Yusaya, had an enormous power behind her, how would he do that? He was far too weak now. He was barely at a level of a C rank from his previous life!

Well, if we took all of his powers, abilities and such he would be a C+ rank, but he couldn't maintain this power-level for long, he lacked mana a little too much to do that...

Thus, his main goal for now would be increasing his mana pool! That was, of course, easier said than done. Easiest method he could think of would be abusing the dungeon system and taking all of the rewards for himself.

Using items that increased his mana pool and then selling those that didn't, buying even more such items!

Of course, he couldn't conquer an "A" rank dungeon alone, thus, he needed a team... One that will follow his wishes and wanted him to grow...

Now that he thought about it... signing a contract with "Dawn" guild wasn't a mistake after all!

He could directly ask for such items from then and even ask for a reward for saving his son!

Well, it's not like it wasn't his fault that he was in danger in the first place, so... He'll try anyway, what is there to lose?
