The world is about to end? So what?

- Why do you think that i care? -- Kerren answered while looking at her. - You're supposed to! This world is your home... -- she could barely talk at this point. /// PLEASE READ MY REVIEW TO THIS NOVEL! /// - Oh? My home? Well... That's too bad then, my home is going to be destroyed... -- he pretended to think for a while -- Right! -- he exclaimed -- I'm just going to find a new one! Why bother saving one that is filled with cockroaches and wasps? -- his gaze fixed on her face, as if he was pointing at her. - You dont understand!.. You cant leave this world... We're locked here... -- she revealed, it didn't surprise Kerren at all. - Uh... Stop thinking too highly of yourself, it's you who cant leave it -- he countered her reveal with his own -- Also, why dont YOU sacrifice yourself for the sake of your home? -- he asked back. - I'm not strong enough, the barrier wont work for long!.. -- she tried to find a reason behind her hypocricity. - Well, you'll have to choose between that and looking at your planet being absorbed by that tower -- he looked at the giant pillar in the sky. -- Wait, i think i forgot to tell you something... -- he looked back at her -- I was the one who summoned it here... -- he smiled happily.

Hints are useful after all!

Soon, Kerren found another entrance to the secret room. To his surprise it wasn't a rock or a random branch, it was an actual door this time!

It, of course, was hidden with some nice spells. If not for his recent modifications he wont be able to see it even if it was right infront of him!

Maybe it wasn't even an entrance, as he couldn't go in no matter what he did, but it exuded the same type of energy that previous entrances did!

As Kerren didn't know how to enter it he decided to leave and look for another secret room.

He also thought that this one looked a bit too grand for a simple secret room with a hint, it could even be the boss arena!

Of course, he thought that it's rediculous, since the "boss" is a damn mosquitoe, but what if it could transform?

Well, whatever it was it's not the time for him to think about, as he couldn't even open it.

...

After some more walking around and planting bombs Kerren found yet another secret room. This one was a piece of a rotten wood that was near the small river.

He didn't know who in their right mind would put an entrance there, but he wished him all the "best" for doing that...

As he entered he couldn't even start looking around, as the only thing in this room was a giant bell.

Well, if you see a bell - ring it. That's exactly what Kerren did. To his surprise - nothing actually happened.

Thus, he started looking around. The room was as empty as could be, and since Kerren didn't know what else to do he started experimenting on the bell.

He hit it with magic, his hands, he even placed another bomb inside of it... Nothing helped.

Then, as he was already used to it, he tried infusing some of the... well, that thing that was inside of him.

This time, however, it didn't do anything at all. It was a surprise to him. More than that, this thing wasn't even restless like the two previous times!

It was as calm as could be! Thus, Kerren thought that it could even be a conincidence that it got restless when he entered those rooms... Of course, there were strange energies here and there...

Well, then why is it silent now? Was it sleeping or something? He couldn't understand a single thing because he didn't have a single clue. Whatever the puzzle was - it was st*pid.

Why put a giant bell inside of a room if you dont need to ring it!?

...

An hour or so later Kerren started getting restless. He used many spells but couldn't locate anything unusual! Of course, there was the bell, but...

The bell didn't do anything! He even modified some spells to see if it actually does anything when he rings it... Nothing!

It was just a normal bell that just was there!

As such, Kerren gave up. He didn't do anything or even thought about leaving this place. Why bother? He can't escape anyway.

None of his methods work, he's not smart enough to leave, so why bother? Just sit still and have fun with your thoughts!

Kerren was used to that, so he started doing something "useful" - modifying his spells again.

He didn't have much free time lately so it was a very good opportunity to improve some more. Of course, he wasted lots of mana when he did that, since his method for improvement was... eh...

Make a spell > modify it > see if it works and if it's better than he previous version:

Better? Good. Modify again!

Worse? Good. Modify until it becomes better!

That was all he had in his mind. Was there any other way to do that? Well, maybe? But Kerren didn't know any and this one worked pretty well...

As such, time flew by. He didn't even count how much time he spent there, but as he was about to start trying to get out again...

He was transported out of the secret room! Why did that happen, thought?

Kerren asked that question aswell, since, well... he "cleared" it!

[Congratulations! You have passed the [Floor 1; Hint 8] challenge!]

[Rewards: Hint 8]

[Hint: Be quiet!]

The only thing that was in Kerren's mind now was...

-* How the f*kk am i supposed to think about it when i have a bell right in... oh... right... that's the lesson...

It was a bit strange but Kerren understood the purpose behind this "puzzle". If you have a chance to do something it's not like you must do it!

As such, ringing the bell must've reset the timer that was... somewhere, i guess.

It didn't matter that much, the puzzle or the test, however you want to call it, was one thing, the hint was another.

How is that useful? Be quiet? Where should he be quiet? When he's fighting the boss or something?

Are those hints even connected? The first one was "Annoying bloodsucker", second was "Distract it" and the third one is "Be quiet!"...

So he's supposed to distract the mosquitoe and be quiet? Well, it was entirely possible since magic didn't produce any sound, but... what's the reason behind all that?

Wait... He could distract lumps with mana... So... Sneak attack! Right! 2/3 hints pointed on a sneak attack! Of course!

He couldn't locate the mosquitoe even with his best spells, even skills couldn't do that! He did locate the clones or whatever though, but the main body? Nope!

As such, he finally had an idea! Why cant he just make a big pile of mana-crystals then cover himself in some spells that hid his presence and just wait?

Wasn't it a great idea!? If he could see those mosquitoe from the side maybe he'll be able to spot the real one among them!

Kerren now had a plan! Of course, he didn't complete his previous one, that was placing enough mana bombs to blow up the whole dungeon!

Thus, he continued walking. He didn't forget to look for more clues since the last one meant that there's at least 5 more somewhere here, but... Why could he see them?...
