Facing

My name is Dante, much like Dante from the great inferno, who traversed through all the levels of hell to seek redemption for his sins. After realizing that the wolf was actually me in that dream in my mind, I awaken in reality with Nina on my shoulders as she is passed out, there are bodies all around me there is no blood, on their uniform there is a lion insignia on one of the soldiers plate carrier. Except one of the soldiers is missing a hand, my mind must've faded out of consciousness after seeing Nina get hit, Isla then calls me {Agent Carver report back immediately} the call ends soon after she said that, when carrying Nina, my thoughts go over everything that has happened today, but laughter overwhelms me at the fact that Nina's leggings are so soft. When arriving back at the Amsterdam building Klaus seems to be talking to the police chief outside, probably about what happened in front of Landon's house, Bill helps me with Nina, as we take her to her room, Mike appears out of nowhere with Caleb as they start trying to attack me, they succeed as I awaken tied to a post, that's right when one of the members of our squad is killed by another member, their killer is whipped by the squad leader, if my memory serves me right it thirty lashes "you are accused of the death of Landon Guiess, what do you have to say for yourself" screams Isla, her sound sorrowful as it seems that she doesn't want to do this, thinking on it if Cidny was right about me being the wolfs long lost son, then Isla must know that as well, because during that time she was watching the events that took place eighteen years ago, also it helps that she was an info broker (Landon was my friend, my comrade, my brother in arms, he fought hard, but I fought harder, he died gruesomely because he was weak, and he let his emotional attachments take control of him.) The room goes silent as Isla end the silence moments later by whipping me (aahhhhh) the whip cuts deep "one" Klaus counts, but he does it in his native tongue. Every single lash sends me to my past to my first drop to my first kill, to my training, my first kiss, first love, also the image of the devil inside me become more visible as his gaze becomes ever so slightly different, he carries a leash which is hooked up to a wolf, the wolf is crying, I'm nocked back into reality by the lash number twenty two, Nina interferes as she holds my body while it's tied up to a post, I can't speak as my body is exhausted from all the pain as well as all my combat encounters, she is then lashes as she doesn't remove herself from me, my energy return to me in the form of anger, as my body rapidly moves to try to get her away but she is then lashed two more times, her tears hit my back, my hands break free from the post, as my body turns to face my whole squad Isla then lashes my eye, creating a scar across my eyes Caleb and Mike rush me trying to hold me down, Nina screams "please don't, he did nothing wrong" she said the same thing when my body was on the post, after thirty lashes a finger, the ring finger is taken as now you are not a part of the squad anymore, but you now become a hidden blade that'll excited every mission no matter what it is,for free. When Isla cuts off my ring finger she then cauterized it, by placing the gauntlet that carried the blade that'll enter every new enemy I face, she then leaves as my body kneels, while bleeding onto the ground, moments later the rest of the squad leaves, with Klaus finally un-gagging me before he left, Nina gets up as her lashes weren't that bad, and she covers me up with a blanket "Im so sorry" she apologizes for something that was out of her control (hey… "please don't talk save your strength" your… white leggings are pretty soft) as she kneels down next me she then looks at me after my half ass compliment and begins to laugh "after everything that has happened your... ow, your thinking about my leggings and how soft they are (yes) you are so dumb" we both laugh at my pain, and the idiocy of my words as she takes me to the medical room. That where we are greeted by Bill who takes Nina to one of the beds to sit her her wounds as he calls the name Kelly out of the floor pop out that synthetic Android that he was working on just yesterday. She approaches me, then smiles saying "olah" in a modded sound that sounds like an itchy speaker. (is…  that span) she then tazes me, jnt the background I hear them argue. Asking myself why is it that now a days my routine starts out with me in a medical bed, but then I come to the conclusion that this is just how things are, when waking up this time, it's due to the fact that there is someone staring at me, to my surprise is both Nina and Kelly, Kelly looks very human to the naked eye, but there are scars in the skin where you can see the cybernetics within her, Kelly smile at the sight of me waking up, next to her is Nina who is currently trying to strangle her with some wiring, from my perspective is looks like a jealous girl trying to kill an Android who has no real feeling whatsoever, and is preprogrammed to curtain settings that allow it to carry out curtain duties next to me is my collar so why they're doing whatever their are doing, I turn it on so that music can play while trying to pinpoint Cloe on the Goliath, but there is something blocking me from looking at the camera system in Goliath so instead there is homework from me and Nina's teachers, so that takes priority. When doing the assignment there is a slight chance our teacher might figure out that she copied off of me, but then on the other hand, who wants to cross check thirty different assignments. When I'm finally finished suddenly a hand slaps me, after turning it off, its Nina who Gretta me with a very disappointed face, maybe she's mad that I ignored her petty squabble with an Android half her height. Instead she talks to me about the duality of man telling me about the good in the evil that I inflict onto people that evil being showing them their greatest fears, taking their life, or taking the lives of their loved ones in front of them, it is probably her way of saying that there is good in the bad that we do, she really doesn't need to explain it to me, because I don't regret killing Landon one bit, in his madness he harmed her but the only thought that my mind could convince is by ending his madness which was only possible by taking his life. While explaining this to her, she begins to not get sad, but annoyed by her idea of me not listening to what she had to say about my actions, then she continues to rapidly punch me, while taking her hit my only counter is laughing, which makes her only hit ever harder "you knew the consequences for killing another member of the team so why did you do it huh… to protect me ?  As time passes the pain of knowing that my purpose on this plain of existence is to kill without remorse as well without question grows ever stronger, it's as if my identity was stripped from me. My first instinct was to confront Isla about my existence, about, why am I a clone ? what lies behind my upbringing ? Who am i supposed to be ? Why does it hurt so bad ? At times like this other people would break under all this unnecessary anxiety, they either hurt themselves or others. Instead I choose to move beyond this "clone" nonsense for now and make my move so that my objective to get Cloe from Goliath and tell her about the wolf, while Nina supports my position on going to Goliath she is unsettled by the choice that I made to avoid my past for the time being to focus on my friends, we don't speak to each other on our way to Theo's place when getting to his apartment his front door is blown off by an explosion, me as well as Nina get ready for combat as my ears catch the sound of footsteps nearby they're heavy and carrying lots of equipment, they come through the stairs on the other side of us, they seem to be wearing the aloha century insignia, then as Mikianea jumps out her window she then fires at them, looking at Nina she give me a glare not to do anything, but instead my weapon fires upon the alpha century team as I make my way towards Mikianea, she fights with finesse, ease, and with a large axe when the dust settles she looks at me saying "Theo he's at practice, will you help me" quickly nodding at her she then has a round go through her shoulder, Nina shot her, Mikianea then runs down the stairs where the team came from, Nina helmet collapse back to her collar, she is furious as she fires near me, it made me realize she isn't like me, all she's ever known was alpha century, its her family, they created me, as well as brought us together, she not the type of person to turn on someone after they gave her so much she fires again before dropping the gun and jumping on me, she kisses me slowly saying "you better come back to me" for some odd reason that line feels familiar, in the end I put her down and without saying a word head to the school to get Theo, on my way there are sounds of gunshots growing ever closer, while Mikianea runs beside me "so you are him aren't you (what do you mean by that) well you were made  without permission (oh your talking about the cloning) oh so you knew, see I was told that the project failed (can we focus on the task at hand please) oh denial… your exactly like him hahahaha (your son might be hurt or worse and you find this funny) buzzkill" when finally arriving we see that Theo is on the ground, he's bleeding everything goes blank for a couple as my sight is blocked, all that I am able to hear is the sound of men screaming and the words "no my son! No!" After my sight returns my hand has penetrated a chest cavity of a soldier sent to kill him, one of them is moving, he has a gauntlet on, attacking the weak soldier check his gauntlet while my leg chokes him to death {operation clean house, kill all members of alpha team, kill Mikianea Lambert, Theo Lambert, kill….} The next thing that happens is men rapidly burst in through the widows above, immediately my instincts kick in as my body moves to pick up Ms Lambert she tried fighting me as we run away from her son's body, after dropping her off about a mile away, I head back to Theos body, my fight against the hit squad was blurry and fast there was more blood on me then there was on the floor, for some odd reason there movements were much like my own, while unmasking one of them, my body drops to the floor as I throw up on the ground, because their faces were all mine they were all me, every single one of the soldiers wore my face. When picking up Theos body I leave a line of gasoline while slowly setting it on fire to cover my tracks. Me and Ms Lambert waited until night time to bury Theo, Ms Lambert held him for every second until his burial which was in a little cottage that every year him and his mom would go to and talk about his father, because the stories Ms Lambert wouldn't tell be that of a wolf that preys on the evil but of a man who did his best to do good for others for evils that were done onto him, during the time before we buried Theo. I was making my flight plan to go to the Goliath, also contemplating on the idea that my "being" was to experiment in creating the perfect killing machine to lead on the creation of the perfect army, one that wont question any order as well as execute it with one hundred percent proficiency. Bill then popped up into my mind, he is known for creating synthetic Androids, it would just be easier to implant my combat experience into each individual mind, but the blood made me think that they were actual human beings, my mind was so over the play that my head can't fully remember what it saw, I try to focus on it but instead focus on finding answers for my friends, so together we can find out the answer to my existence, maybe just maybe in the end this madness will end. After burying Theo Ms Lambert says to me "I'm going to find a girl name Karma and we are going to find who did this and kill them" which I then nodded my head stating (do whatever you have to "you know who she is, don't you" no? "Don't you fucking lie to me, my son, my boy, my precious little boy was taken away from me, he was the only thing that he gave to me, Karma and I can find who did this" something tells me you already know " yes is Isla that fucking bitch, she always blammed H for the death of Kotegawa… She hated him so much that she even tried killing him in a plane explosion, but H didn't care he saw it as a way of her getting out all that pain and anger kept inside, eighteen fucking years we had to watch as she made him do mission after mission, and Jasmine went along with it because she also blames him for the death of Candyce, he carried all that weight on his shoulders for so long the pain the hate the anger, and what could I do, but raise his son and look where that…" mikianea I'm not h I'm not Theo but what I am is something more, sure I most likely am a defect of failed line of clones who were made to replace the man you speak of, Theo was my friend, and I will do everything in my power to get you your revenge "then help me !" ) After those words were said my flight for one to goliath turned into a flight for two on a private jet, that carried varied equipment for me to be prepared. Our private jet is being piloted by a person only known as seven he's apart of a counter terrorist outfit that handles mostly bio terrorism, alpha century worked with them for about two years until we had falling out with their leader known as Zero, he was not a fan on how Isla ran her team and was against the idea of having a child do assassinations mission, but over the years me and seven stayed in touch as he would run UAV survalence on some of my operations, in return I'd help him write a series of short novels, it was a space syfi that sold extremely well in the United States, so when we buried Theo he didn't even hesitate to come to my aid. When getting on the jet the presence of someone else become very clear pulling my gun out Mikianea then readies herself, moving through the main cabin I'm surprised with seven talking to Kelly (Kelly go back to bill now !) She then stand up and does that fake smile as she opens her mouth to play a recording from Bill there are gunshots {hey kid… now listen up Isla is not to blame, it Jasmine she trying to… oh shit caleb cover those door kelly get down, klaus how are we on ammo "I'm running on two mags" alright kid listen to me right now Kelly is in your hands now she was made as a companion Android for you to run operations, but we were betrayed, Nina is fighting against us as well, Caleb watch those wrist rockets, Mike is in Goliath searching for a karma and a Leon they're your only allies "Caleb!!" Oh shit… is that cidny} then the recording cuts off Kelly goes back into that smile of hers as oil runs down her eyes she still smiling then mikianea whispers in my ear "go hug her" my mind is still trying to comprehend the idea of my own companion bot as well as the attacking my old squad which was carried out by my girlfriend, also Isla isn't behind any of these attacks, but nervously body connect with Kelly  as her human emotion protocol kicks in, using my jacket I wipe away her tears then after that my head turns to seven (can you take us to goliath).
