Chapter 4: Family, Emotion, Wandless

1987 July 30th

It has been a few weeks since I arrived in this world I found out I am a member of Abraham noble family I emphasize on the word noble. Our family is not one of the most ancient noble houses. It is a relatively newly formed noble family with just a few generations in its history.

When I learnt the situation of my family I was so happy. I was not a muggle born meaning I had no trouble with doing magic at home and wizarding laws were not against me, sometimes even favored me. Furthermore Abraham family was not too strong therefore did not attract the attention of the lord of light . Abraham household was neutral so If I played my cards well enough I should be able to avoid the trouble coming to magic world with the arrival of the-boy-who-lived at least till 6th to 7th year.

Since the day I burned the paper my passion for magic ignited. I could ask my aunt to teach me but in the wizarding world only potions, basic magic theory and subjects that does not require a wand is taught to children.

I had seen it in movies and read it in novels that Tom Riddle and harry 's mother Lilly were capable of wandless magic as a child. In one particular fanfic it was mentioned that it was the standard of a genius in ancient times so I could not help it but set a goal for myself to learn how to do magic like Riddle and Lilly before learning magic systematically.

At the same time I wanted to be different from them. I mean Tom could hurt some one and influence animals while Lily could change the colors of flowers and grow them. I wanted my own kind of wandless magic.

The reason I care about the kind of magic I can do wandless is because of a theory I had in my mind when I was enjoying the story. I think not only wandless being the standard for being a genius in ancient time is true but there is a valid reason behind it.

Tom could hurt some one wandlessly and later he showed incredible talent in the dark arts. Lily could transfigure flowers and later she showed astonishing results in transfiguration. She was one of the best students of McGonagall So I was curious what kind of wandless magic I will be capable of.
