Leo was drinking solo at the top of Nick's bar. He had called Ray earlier and the latter was now on his way.

While drinking, a lot of thoughts ran through his head. The more Leo thought about everything that had happened in the past few days the more confused he became. He felt that Nicole couldn't lie to her and the evidence from Nesli also added up to build his suspicion even more.

He had confirmed that indeed, Ray was the one who made the call and report Nicole, which also meant that he had taken the wrist watch from his home. But, what he didn't understand was the reason why he would do something like that.

Leo sighed and sipped the whisky in his hands. The club was a little crowded that day and there were a lot of people dancing and having fun at the ground floor in the dance area.

Casting his eyes around, Leo saw Ray entering the club. He wore his usual blue jacket that Lizzy had bought for him a few years ago on his birthday.

Leo didn't know why but he started to feel stuffy just thinking of the possibility of Ray really having a hand in Lizzy's death. He looked at his best friend of more than 20 years and suddenly felt that he was becoming like a stranger to him.

Ray sat across Leo and poured himself a drink. He relaxed on the couch and looked at Leo, ''why are you looking at me like that?''

''You really wear this jacket a lot more often than usual. Don't tell me you cherish it so much. One would think it was a gift from your girlfriend''

Ray choked on the whisky and coughed with a flustered look.

''Why are you so serious? I was just joking''

''Don't joke about something like that. Lizzy was my friend too and I just love this jacket because it reminds me of her'' Ray wiped his lips with a tissue that was laying on the table. He finally relaxed and held the glass calmly sipping, ''so why did you suddenly call me out here?''

''I was called to the police station a few days ago. Apparently, the wrist watch of Lizzy was found with a woman who turned out to be a friend of Lizzy''

''Really? Then, what happened? Did she confess to knowing something about Lizzy's death?''

''No, but do you know what's even more funnier? The watch was in my drawer just that same morning but it suddenly found its way into the woman's bag that night and the police also just happened to receive a call from an anonymous person claiming that they saw the watch with that woman. Isn't that strange?''

Leo studied Ray's expression. The latter still looked calm on the surface but when Leo looked at the glass in his hand, his fingers were tightly around it.

''Ray, is there something you would like to tell me?'' Leo asked and Ray looked at him.

''What do you want to know?''

''That day in the morning, you came to my apartment and even took a shower in my room. Were you the one who took the watch and kept it inside the woman's bag?''

''Yes, I did it'' Ray confessed, ''but I had a reason for doing that. I found out something about that woman and found her actions suspicious. On the day Lizzy past away, she was also at the hospital. She has appeared at almost everywhere that you went to. I felt she might know something about Lizzy's death but I didn't know how to get her to confess and the only way I knew how was to put the watch inside her bag. She is a strange person''

''I see. So, you tried to help me in finding out the true identity of that woman? You and I have been friends for so many years now. If you found her actions suspicious, you could have just told me right away. I suspected you for nothing''

''You thought I was hiding something?''

''Yes, but now that you've explained it clearly, I understand and I apologise for suspecting you''

''It's alright. I shouldn't have done that without consulting you first''

''That woman is indeed Lizzy's friend but she has nothing to do with Lizzy's death. I will find time to introduce you to her properly''

''You keep in touch with her?'' Ray's voice rose a little louder.

''Yes, I plan to invite her to Lizzy's 40 days after death tomorrow''

''I see'' Ray drunk all the whiskey and poured himself another one. They both became quiet as they drunk but each held within him some degree of weariness and suspicion. Their sitting posture showed their guarded stance.

''He still keeps in touch with that bitch? How is it so impossible to shake that woman off? Is she some kind of pest or what?'' Priscy paced around her hall after hearing what Ray told her. She was about to go to bed when Ray called and came around to tell her about his meeting with Leo. She was so furious and felt like tearing someone apart. ''How did you do your job for it to turn out this way?'' she glared at Ray who stood up and held her collar, moving her closer to himself. His mouth reeked of alcohol as he spoke.

''Listen, I will handle things my own way. You just have to do your job of getting Leo to bed you. I have kept my own part of the deal. You are the one still dilly dallying about. If you had done your job well, Leo would have been yours a long time ago. Don't give me any attitude as I am already not in a good mood. Leo is now guarded against me and it is going to be difficult for us from now onwards because he will be watching me. I don't care how you do it, but you must make sure you sleep with him and get his semen inside you. We must wrap things fast and get out of here''

''Wrap what up?'' Lizzy asked herself as she stood at a distance with Candy.

''It seems these two are planning something big and it might just be the main reason why you were killed. Wait, did you perhaps find out something about their plan and thus was killed?''

''I never thought I would meet such kind of despicable people in my life'' Candy said and they turned to see the two passionately kissing and tearing their clothes apart.

Nicole finished bathing and was preparing to go to bed when it suddenly started raining heavily. She looked at the time and it was already past midnight. She looked around and didn't see any of the ghost.

She went to the fridge to get a cup of water and the lightning that followed the thunder made her scream. She squatted down and hide beside the dining table cussing.

''This is why I hate it when it rains. Sssh'' she stood up and moved one step at a time until she got to the fridge and opened it. She removed a bottle of water and ran into her room with it.

''Where did these two go without informing me? I can't believe the nerve of these two. Always doing as they wished''

Nicole sat on her bed and drunk the water before placing the bottle on the vanity table. she looked outside through her window, ''why is it raining so heavily tonight? I have a bad feeling about this rain''

Lizzy and Candy appeared in the hall panting for breath, they rushed into Nicole's room and saw her standing by the window.

''What are you doing by the window?'' Lizzy asked and Nicole turned.

''Where did you go?'' she asked them.

''We went to that woman's house and guess what we found out'' Candy said.

''What did you find?''

''Just as you asked us, she is indeed planning to sleep with Leo tomorrow on his birthday''

''Detective Gail wasn't lying?'' Nicole furrowed her brows.

But, that is not all. Those two, Ray and Priscy are definitely hiding something and it might just have something to do with my death. I am sure Ray was the one who got me killed but Priscy was also aware''

''Those two are hiding something?'' Nicole asked them and they narrated everything they saw at Priscy's house to her.

''Those two might be planning something even bigger than we think'' Lizzy said and Nicole nodded her head.

''Lizzy, if we are going to bring Leo into this then we are doing it my way this time around. I won't accept any form of disrespect and if you act up again, we are done for real''

''Don't worry. I won't blindly be led by my emotions anymore. I have learnt my lessons'' Lizzy lifted her hands in the air.

''Good. Now we just need to figure out exactly what those two are hiding and that will be handled by the two of you. Tomorrow is Leo's birthday which means those two are going to be at his place. Candy, you will go and search in Ray's home, and Lizzy, you will search inside Priscy's home. we will definitely find something from either side''
