Evelyn tried to mentally prepare herself to be in a large crowd of people at the gathering tonight, but she was not prepared for the sheer amount of people that were crowding the hallways of the castle. She tried her best not to run in to anyone as she made her way toward the dining hall. She had to calm herself next to the wall after she had made it a bit of the way. The thoughts were so loud and she was struggling to keep them out. She crouched down low to the ground and exhaled deeply. She envisioned the wall being built back up and her breathing slowed down. She felt her wards go back in to place and sighed in relief. She straightened herself up and continued down the hallway. There were still some thoughts that made their way through her defenses, but it was no where near as bad as it was before.
