"How was it?" Evelyn asked as she opened her eyes. She had let her magic withdraw from the bird and was seated on the rock.
"My only concern is that you are not conscious when you are casting this," Clyde replied.
Evelyn tilted her head to the side. "I had never thought of that," she admitted. "Is that a bad thing?"
"Well, you would never be able to use it in a real battle because someone would have to protect your body while you are projecting your magic," he explained with a sigh.
Evelyn shook her head, she had never thought of that before. This was simply something she had learned how to do for fun. She never thought of the consequences of using it during any other time. "What should I do?" She asked worriedly.
