"Are we seriously going to start trading with these people?" Lyonne asked Azriel as they were preparing to meet Draco and Tobias.

"We don't have a choice at this point... It won't be forever though, at least until this Xarbalte issue has been resolved so let's just hope they don't catch on to us until then."

Lyonne nodded. That was all they could do at the moment since they were currently walking on enemy territory unprotected.

"Did you manage to send word to Edward?" Azriel asked.

"I did... they'll be waiting by the border in three days - so we need to hurry it up before then."

They gathered their things and followed the guard who led them to the meeting room. "I see you're both looking fresh today, I take it you slept well." Tobias greeted them enthusiastically the second they stepped foot in the room. If it weren't for the crown sitting on Draco's head, one would have thought Tobias was the king and not Draco with the way he acted.
