Home and Family pt1

The Imperial Knight Chris stopped the carriage at the entrance of the Imperial Capital to wake the Prince. He was currently sleeping in the carriage.

"Your Highness, we have arrived," he said respectfully.

William did not answer but he nodded his head at him through the glass window. Looking at main gate of capital he felt nostalgic,it's been years since he left and now he is back.He glanced outside the carriage to take a clear look at the majestic city of the Imperial Capital Erigal. Thee walls were over thirty meters tall and built from magic materials. Not only that, but they were also put defensive magical spells to protect from nearly all types of magical attacks. Even an SSS class mage would not be able to damage these walls.

Unlike the many people waiting in line to enter the Capital, the imperial knight Chris did not stop the carriage. Instead, he moved to enter a small gate that was set for special nobles and the Imperial family. The people waiting outside the main city gate looked the carriage moving in front of them.

As the capital of one of the four great empires within the continent of Drexia. It was one of the mega cities of Drexia with more than ten million people living in it. it was divide into three area's.

The commoner area was the largest and most populated area consisting of half the population of the city. This was where most commoners lived. After all, most of the people who lived here were regular mortals.

The noble Area was where nobility lived. and was also home to the Erigal Magic Academy, and the Mercenaries Guild. Since all mages were granted the title of nobility, there were countless magic weapons stores located here. Since all mages were granted the status of nobility.

The final area was the Imperial area home of the Imperial family and the Imperial Palace. It was located in the very heart of the city. 

"Truly magnificent," William said with an astonishing expression on his face as he was looking at the outside within his carriage as it was moving down the streets of Erigal city.

It's been almost an hour since he had entered the Imperial Capital and he was still enthralled by everything he saw.

Even though who was born and raised in this magnificent city, William was still unable to calm himself down after seeing it with his own eyes.The streets of the city were built wide and spacious, approximately hundred meters wide. Even with the endless stream of carriages moving up and down the City, the streets did not feel crowded at all.

Each one of the buildings was a marvel.The architectural structure of Erigal city was so enchanting that it also bewitched every person, drawn him in that he had this sudden urge to call this place home.

"What a marvelous city. The imperial capital truly lives up to its reputation." William whispered to himself as let out a long breath of air while his mind recovered its calm.

After traveling for about one hour or so, Mikhail arrived at his destination, the Imperial Palace of the Starlight Empire. At the entrance of the arch shaped gateway stood two powerful Imperial Knights.

As the residence of the most powerful family throughout the whole Starlight Empire and also its ruler, the grandeur and the magnificence of the Imperial Palace of the Starlight Empire wasn't something that could be described with mere words.Built on a large steep hill that overlooked the entirety of the city of Paradisum, the Imperial Palace of the Helios Empire was the most towering structure of the Imperial Capital.

In fact, there was no building in the entire Starlight Empire, let alone the imperial capital, which was taller and more magnificent than the Imperial Palace.The entire palace was white as snow, with gold, black, and blue accents covering parts of it. Despite its mammoth and colossal size, the Imperial Palace was enchanted by a defensive magical formation like a dome, visible to the naked eyes.

 As William was admiring the beauty of the Imperial Palace, his carriage was already at the front gate.
