The Wild Wolves

An unmated yet ancient wolf, Uriel Ulrich, wanted nothing more than to leave the void that has always assaulted his heart for centuries so as to convince fate to provide him his mate, so he could finally rip himself away from the cage of boredom. But, when a strange vampire walked into his life to capture his heart, the plot that had been prepared by fate underwent a great twist. Uriel was left with two choices, an advantageous and a disadvantageous choice. It’s either he finds a way of convincing his ruthless beast to accept the vampire as their mate and thereby forsake the search for their fated mate or he rips apart the image of the vampire that was contained within his brain and continue his search for his fated mate. Each choice leads to an unwanted ending, for both his fated mate and the vampire belonged to a more powerful being.

A Broken Mirror I

(Ulnar)

I felt whatever pain Uriel felt during the battle and I was angered. I tried forcing myself out to assume control over his body but he kept up with the resistance. His arms were held by some vampires as he was forced to his knees. `You all forced me to bring out the flame.' I knew what he wanted to do whenever he made use of that sentence, he was with the intention of giving me control over his body. I hesitated not to grant his request, I willed my deadly claws to replace his slender fingers and my fangs did well to visit the world at the right time. I yanked the arms of the duo vampires away and tore them off their shoulders. They screamed in agony and before they could think of doing more damage to Uriel's body, I arose from the solid ground and drew them closer before dipping my claws into their chests to dig their hearts out.

Punches and kicks came after the extermination of the duo vampires but I dodged all, I ducked away from the directions of their attacks and ripped apart every head I was able to serve justice to. I wasn't needed to be told that I was a living killing machine, I made use of my indiscernible and indescribable speed to make their deaths faster. Heads fell off shoulders, hearts got dug out, arms were torn off, legs were disabled, my fangs made quick of some. I could sight the shocked expression that belonged to the bald vampire who was their leader but I cared not to attack him till I had killed all his minions. A vampire struck my back with his claws and that action ruined half of the already messed up black tuxedo. I turned around to battle him and I enjoyed his expression as I sunk my fangs into his neck to drain every energy within his body away.

After that, I halted and looked around. I had already eliminated half the entire force of their clan. The others maintained distance from my position after discovering how indestructible I was. Odeon was panic stricken as he contemplated on the next action but I granted him no time to do that for I had already begun the killing spree. An unfortunate vampire suffered the first bite and he fell to the ground with no breath. More heads rolled as I danced around them with my claws and fangs, none could stop my violent actions. It was my habit, I couldn't stop killing whenever I saw the opportunity. I loathed vampires more than any other creature, I was always disgusted by their scents so I knew well to kill them.

Odeon stood rooted to the ground as he watched the violent beast kill every subordinate of his. He said nothing but let his cautious gaze fall upon mine and I could sense the myriad of emotions that assaulted his entirety. Fear gripped his heart and he regretted the chaos he birthed. His legs couldn't withstand the pressure he faced for my violent aura was targeted at him, that was a thing I did to subdue my enemies. I lacked knowledge of where he managed to gain the bravery to attack me. He looked around and saw the gory scene, bloody heads, torn arms, bloody hearts, torn legs, and halved bodies laid upon the soil of his clan and he tilted his head upwards to scream at the dark sky.

He bolted towards me right after the scream and I had to admit he was faster than the female vampire who served as a distraction to I and Uriel's cause. `Don't kill him, yet. I still need to know where she is.' Uriel hissed at me just as the vampire bolted towards me. His words distracted me and the vile creature managed to give a solid hit to my nose. The fury that burned his heart was not minimum, he gave another punch to my nose and proceeded to grab my head. He yanked my head forward and whipped his head backwards before hitting his strong bald head on mine. I felt dizzy for seconds and that earned him the opportunity to peel off some skin off Uriel's face with his claws. Blood oozed out of the skin but the slight injury vanished after very few seconds. There was a reason to why he didn't attack me even till the fight ended, I knew it was because he wanted to have knowledge about how I fought. And, that helped him a bit to land some solid hits on Uriel's face.

A slight frown appeared on my face as he dug his claws into my chest but his face had a shocked expression when he discovered his claws had no way of invading my chest. He didn't know that Uriel's body was harder than the strongest metal in the whole world, his body could be injured but couldn't be destroyed. My face birthed a smile while his birthed a frown, a huge contrast between our abilities. I grabbed his arm and twisted it at an indiscernible speed, he screamed out his lungs as I delivered a strong kick to his leg. I pulled him by his collar before shoving him to the wall to question him about the girl's location. I wasn't with the intention to save her, I wanted to find her and rip her head off her shoulders before Uriel could regain control over his body. I needed Uriel to concentrate on finding our mate and killing her was the only way. `Where's she?' My guttural voice invaded his brain and he was scared shitless. He gazed at my bloody eyes and imagined what sort of creature I was. `I don't know who you're talking about, I'm being honest so please do not hurt me.' I was a bit surprised when he said he had no knowledge about her and I knew he wasn't lying for I had focused the whole lot of my perception on his emotions. `No one can stop me from killing you.' I growled at him but his reply earned him a chuckle. `My brother would hunt you should he know you murdered someone of his blood. If you don't know my brother, I'm happy to tell you that he's one of the red ravens that serves directly under Amenadiel. So, you'll do well to leave me be.' Those were his last words as I sunk my gleaming fangs into his neck, I drained him of every energy stored within his body. The venom spread all over his body and he died after half a minute, his death was slower than the average vampires that died whenever my fangs visited their necks. `Let me out, Ulnar.' I ignored Uriel as I walked out of the mansion. `I'll find her and kill her. After that, you'll regain control over your body.'
