I woke up the next morning to an empty bed. I smiled knowing he left me because of what I did yesterday. I woke up and got ready, purposefully forgetting my panties and bra. I wore a maxi wrap dress, thinking he would need easy access. I found my driver waiting for me. He took me to the office and when I reached there, I told Eloise to clear Alex's schedule from lunch onwards. She smiled and then agreed. She is clever, I bet she knew what I was thinking. I had a lot of meetings but the one close to lunch was to discuss the alliance we have with the humans. Alex had to be there. I made sure to be late to the room by two minutes. His eyes were on me the moment I walked into the room, they went wide and Zeke had to elbow him to take them off me and to the file that he was showing him. "Sorry am late gentlemen", I said sitting next to him. He adjusted the way he was sitting making me smirk. I could see the eyes of the men in the room ogling over me that forced occasional growls from Alex, to bring them back to reality. "The people that they are experimenting on are maniacs and some even ex-convicts. If we don't stop them this will end badly on both ends", one of them said. He looked frustrated. "We understand Chairman, my men and yours will meet to discuss how we will go about this. Since we have aligned, I believed we should sign the new treaty and get this meeting over with before I kill your men for eye fucking my mate!", the last part was said through gritted teeth making them swallow hard. When they were done, they shook hands and left. I did not stay, I went to my office pretending to look for something under one of the visitor chairs when I heard my door being locked. I turned to see a very sexy-looking Alpha looking at me with glowing eyes. "May I know why you're punishing me?", he said calmly. "I think you know why my love", I said seductively. "I would never cheat on you so why am I being punished for being nice to people", he said rising his voice a little. "You know I won't cheat on you too so why are you threatening to kill people for looking at me?", I asked innocently. "Fine! What do you want me to do then? Tell me and I will do it", he said in the same tone, clearly holding on to the last bit of control. "Well, for starters stop being too nice to people especially women that are on the pretty lane and second I want you to come here and take what's yours" when I mentioned the last part I was sitting on my desk with my legs spread. He swallowed so hard I think I heard it from the place I was sitting. It was like he flew to me and in seconds he was attacking my neck with open kisses. When his hand went under my dress and found that I was bare, he growled. "This is not going to be smooth my love, I hope you are ready for me", he whispered in my ear as he removed his pants. He was right, there was nothing smooth, there was a point I almost passed out.

"Your Majesty, Lana is awake, would you like to go and see her?", Eloise said making me do a happy dance which she ended up laughing at. "Please tell Alex, I want to go with him", I instructed as I gathered my things. I was so happy that she was finally going to start her new life and make her late father proud. Ever since I met her, I knew she was meant for so much more than just an omega.

We reached the hospital a few minutes later and there she was being fed by Allen. It was a nice view considering she was all pink and shy. It made me smile, the mate bond never ceased to amaze me. "Your Majesties, welcome", Allen said then bowed his head. "You shaved? How did that happen?", I asked with a smile. "I told him, I won't let him near me if he doesn't shave and he was smelling funny", Lana said with a smile of her own, something that I never saw on her before. It was nice and it made her look so beautiful, glowing even. "Oh! guess who is getting the taste of his own medicine. Am happy that you found your mate and that you are changing history. Our very first Female Alpha", Alex said with a warm smile. He was proud, I could feel it through the bond. 'I need a moment alone with her', 'Of course', Alex agreed right away then told Allen to go see if the doctor was going to discharge Lana, something that he agreed to in an instant. I went forward and sat next to her. "How are you really feeling?", I asked looking at her in the eyes. "I can't believe it. I defeated him like he was just a normal wolf", she said surprised. "He is in a way, If he sent someone to make your father disappear it means he did not get the chance to become Alpha. They say you become one via challenging one and winning or by birthright?", I asked and she nod her head. "Then he was not the True Alpha, you are and the moon goddess just gave you a mate that is so worth it and handsome don't you think?", I teased at the end earning a blushing face. "Well, we got the papers. Guess we get to sleep in an actual bed tonight", Allen said with so much excitement making us smile. Alex was right behind him and he had this knowing look that made me wonder what was in his head. We helped Lana pack her bags and walked them to Allen's car.

"I heard what you told Lana. That was nice of you", Alex said as we entered my office, it surprised me. I turned to look at him in the eyes, they were filled with pride. "Spoke like a Queen that you are", he said pulling me closer to him, his forehead on mine. "But I think one of these days you will break my back. Can't you wear heels or something?", he joked making me laugh and attempt to meet his height by stepping on my toes. "Much better", he said with a smile then gave me a peck.
