The Encounter

I turned around to see a big and white dog's teeth  jumping towards me, the next thing I know a chunk of my neck was bitten off. I tried my best to escape from his grip as hard as I could and finally able to free myself. I ran till I reached the Riverside I couldn't run anymore because I was bleeding alot then I fainted in running river as I was fainting I noticed the animal that was chasing me got attacked by I think it was the same wounded wolf.



When I awoke in the morning I realise I was in my room, I then rushed to the bathroom mirror and looked at my neck and I didn't see a single wound nor blood on my clothes!

My dad then called me for breakfast. As I was walking down the stairs I start to have a striking pain in my head  till I fell down the stairs. My father ran to my side when he heard the thud as I fell and asked me if I was ok while checking to see if I have any bruises or broken bones. I said "I am fine only that I had a headache before I fell."

"Do you want any pain killer?" He asked

"No, think I just need to go and lay down a little." I answered.

"Alright I will help you upstairs to your bedroom, if need be I can call the school and tell them that you are not coming."

We reached my room and then I asked "Dad how did I get home last night?"

"Your friend carry you over saying that you were studying at her place when you start feeling sick, then you walked to the bathroom and vomit, I thought it was your monthly thing, if it was not, what are you taking!" Dad said with a serious tone.

"Dad don't worry it is probably the monthly thing.. ha ha ha" me answered awkwardly.

"Ok make sure, I am going to come back in 10 minutes to see if you are ok."

"Ok thanks Dad."

As soon as dad left I called my best friend

'Ring, ring, click'

"Hello? Can I speak to your daughter auntie Susie?"

" Yeah man, honey Mio is on the phone!!!!"

"Yeah what's up?"

" Do you know what happen last night?"

" Last night. Hmm I was taking care of my baby brother remember I told you! That's why I couldn't  walk home with you!"

"Oh, yeah. I can't remember how I got home last night."

"Was you out drinking with Candy again? I told you to don't do it if I am not there."

" No I don't remember seeing her, last thing I remember is I was following a wounded dog into the forest next the school then I saw a big creature with white teeth jumping on me and bitting me, as I was running away I think I fainted because of blood lost then I wake up I was perfectly fine! "

".....Mio you sure you weren't drinking anything!?"

"Yes for the better off."

"Then how you get home?"

"Dad said a friend of mine carry me home after studying."

"Ahh ok I am coming over there now so we can get to the bottom of this, later!"

" Yeah."

'Click'

20 minutes later

"Ding dong! Anybody home?"  Midora said

Dad went to the door to answer it.

"You do know we have a door bell right?"

"Yeah just too tired to ring it."

"Fine then what brings you here shouldn't you be in school?"

"What kind a friend you think me is? Going to school when my bestie is laying sick in bed!" She said while pushing her way in.

"Whatever you say, Mio is in her room sleeping so I want you to be very quiet."

" Ok I will be super quiet."

She then starts to tip toe up the stairs to my room.

"Hey I know you not sleeping so wake up!!!!" Midora shouted.

She jumped on me with such a great force thought I broke a rib or something.

"Well I am thinking someone who don't like you put something in your drink or food. Maybe a An....?" Midora said while I pushed her off my back.

"I don't think so, I know what I saw was real!"

"Maybe you saw a wolf or something."

" You think so?

"It is possible, I was reading.."

Wait stop! You was READING!"

"Mio not funny!"

"Sorry it is so shocking."

"Well anyways I saw on the internet about alot of wolf attacks in the next town over. Some victims even died from the bites they got."

"Really?"

"Yep, maybe you were attacked and you ran before he could injury you and thought you were bitten."

"Maybe everything is starting to get hazing."

"Good. Now talk about you and the new kid! I know I saw you and him walking to class together after lunch like a couple of love birds.😍"

"It's nothing like that! I just happen to help him order lunch. And maybe we ate together."

" That right there is pretty much a date!"

"No sadly a annoying factor was with us so it wasn't a date. "

" Let me guess.. Andra right?"

"Yep the same witch."

"Ok Tell me what happen?"

"The whole time we were eating she was talking about herself like she was doing biography, and no matter what she said the guy didn't answer her back, the whole lunch hour this was going on."

"If it was me I would so tell her off!"

"Midora your mom's on the phone!!" Dad shouted.

"How come your dad like that, he is a snitch!"

"Midora she is giving to the count of 5!" Dad Said.

"Mio sorry I got to go text me, bye." Midora said while she rushed out my room to my dad with the phone.

After all that I went to sleep and had a dream about when I was 8 and a wolf attacked and the cute boy saved me. When I opened my eyes, I saw the same boy from my dream only grown up. I looked around only to realize I was at the forest river and when turn back around I don't see him again. I notice that I am wide awake and with only my underwear on. I don't know how I got here.

I panicked and walk towards the school since it was close by. I saw Midora at the back gate with some of her friends planning to skip school I guess. I called out to her

"Midora!"

She turned around and saw me behind a tree and ran towards me asking what am I doing here. I said what I know and then she told her friends to leave without her. Midora give me her coat it was big enough to cover my whole body and start to walk me home.

When we reach dad was on the porch looking like someone died. He saw me and rush towards me huging me tightly asking me "Where have you been!!!!"

I don't know how to answer this so I just told him the truth.

"Why didn't you be honest in the first place! What if something very dangerous happen to you? How do you think I can face your mom in heaven!"

"I am so sorry."

"All I can say is that we need carry you to the doctor

And about the creature you saw we will tell the animal center about it ok. I am happy that you seem fine."

We then drive to the doctor and leaving Midora to watch the house, my dad had a few problems with leaving her there but I said it's going to be fine. When we arrived at  doctor Jones office we went right in and my dad said I need a check up right away!

After the testes the doc said I was perfectly fine the only problem is that I have a little anemia and all need to do is eat some food and rest. I don't know what's been going on lately so all I could do is what the doctor said.

Later that night I had the same dream again but this time with the addition of the boy grown up and we were kissing, I woke up from my dad shaking me awake when he notice the alarm was tripped when I going out the window. After that night my dad locked the window from the inside.

A week from me not going to school has passed, my dad didn't want me going back but I convince him that I should. Class was about to start me and Midora were talking about the stuff I missed in school when the new kid came in and the class went quiet when I looked at him I noticed his eyes looks just like the guy in my dream that I been having! I was really shocked. He walked up to my desk and then started....
