Wow This Very Fancy Place

Chapter 21

Adam's mother, Mary, smiled slightly, "Now that we are all acquainted, let me show you to your rooms. Come with me, Darlings."

We went to the second floor, we must have walked past 10 doors before stopping at one.

Mary smiled, "Ahh, here we are, Avery this is your room, I hope you will enjoy it." Then she left with Adam, saying, "Darling, follow me, your room is this way.

Adam responded, "I know mom, I use to live here."

When they left, I unpacked my things, placing my clothes onto the dresser since I'm not going to be staying very long and I packed very little.

After I finished unpacking I went over to the butler to ask him, "Uhh, hey, do you know where Adam's room is?"

He pointed to the left, "Three doors down, Miss."

I smiled, "Thank you, Mr...?"

The butler said, "Calum, you may call me Calum, Miss."

I nodded, "Okay, thanks, Calum."

Calum's thoughts:

My, what a nice young lady. She is one of the only people who has ever ask for my name or thanks me.

I smiled, I hope she stays for a while. I looked at my watch, hmm, time to get back to work.

Back to Avery:

I walked to Adam's room, knocking on the door three times, "Hey, Adam? Are you in there? Can I come in?"

Adam opened the door, dragging me in, "We need to talk."

I staggered into his room, "Uhh, okay? About what?"

Adam sighed, "My family can't know about us switching identities, they can't know that you are the one who is Captain Of The Martial Arts club."

I nodded, "Yeah, I figured that, anything else?"

Adam nodded, "Yup, my family might throw some parties, do you have anything nice to wear?"

I thought about what I had packed, t-shirts, jeans, boy shorts, and boy-ish button-ups, "Uhh, describe your meaning of nice?"

Adam sighed, "I'll take that as a no. Come here!"

Sighing I walked over to Adam's closet, "Do I have to? I mean come on, I look like a boy. Can't I just wear tuxedos?"

Adam glared, "NO! You are going to wear dresses for these parties, Missy!" He rummaged through his closet, grabbing something, "Ah-ha! This is the one! Get over here and take off your clothes!"

I sighed, taking off my shirt and shorts, "Give me the dress."

Adam handed it to me, I sighed, shrugging it on, I shook my head, "Uhh, no thanks, I look so weird."

Adam looked me over, "Hmm, yes, this is not the one for you, let's change into another one." He went back into his closet, he held up another dress, "How about this one? It looks good on me, so it should look good on you."

I took off the other dress, grabbing the one in his hand, slipping it on, "I think it looks okay."

Adam looked me over again, making a face, "Uhhh, no. It doesn't look good on you, why did you think it looked good? Is it because it is black?"

I said, "Uhhhhh."

Adam sighed, "You are such a boy."

He grabbed another dress, this one was, dark blue with gold and silver, it was very beautiful, I took the dress from Adam's hands, I put it on, "Wow." It was a wavy off-shoulder dress that hugged my slender waist, it had a slit at the middle of my thigh, the length of the dress was just a little above my ankle, there were pretty gold and silver designs all over the dark blue dress, the sleeves were up to my wrist.

Adam grinned, "Wow, is right, this is your dress."

I smiled, "I actually, really like this dress, thanks, Adam."

Then he rummaged in his closet again, pulling out a pair of blue and black colored heels.

I stared at them, "Uhhh, do you have any flats?"

Adam shook his head, "I only have these, they are the only one's that go with the dress. Put them on, Avery."

I sighed, "Alright, alright," slipping on the heels, I stood up, "Wow, this is really tall, Adam." I said while staggering a little.

Adam sighed, "This is an only 3-inch heel, little missy and you can't even stand up in them without falling." Sigh, "Come on take a few steps toward the bed so if you fall you might land on the bed."

I took a small step forward, wobble, wobble, crap. I wobbled toward the bed and sat down, "I did it!"

Adam sighed, "Don't look so happy, you are going to have to walk around in those for a few hours, in a few days."

I sighed, "Alright, I'll practice in my room later tonight. Adam? I have a question."

Adam raised an eyebrow, "Yes, Avery?"

I asked, "If your family lives in New York, how did your father and brothers become Captain Of The Martial Arts Club at Princeton?"

Adam sighed, "Like me, they moved to California and lived alone, for some reason every male in my family does that. I am probably the first who hasn't become the Captain." Sigh, "Anyway, why did you ask?"

I shrugged, "I don't know, it just seemed kind of weird, you know them living so far away from California. Oh, I have another question, so your brothers can all do Martial Arts?"

Adam nodded, "So can I, but I'm not very good, they are all way better than me. Alright get out, I need some peace and quiet. Shoo."

I sighed, "Alright, see you later Adam, wait, I need to change out of this dress first. Give me a minute." I quickly changed and grabbed my sneakers, Adam stopped me, "No, wear your high-heel, you need the practice. Now go away."

I slipped on the heels sighing, "Bye Adam, see you later."

I walked around in my heels in my temporary room, I fell so many times. By the time, Calum called me for dinner I was exhausted and sitting on the floor, I muttered, "Okay, Calum. Can you help me up? Please?"

Calum reached out his hand, "Here you go, Miss." He pulled me up, "Up you go."

I nodded, "Thanks, Calum." I kicked off my heels, groaning, oh the pain, "Alright, let me put on my sneakers." I slipped them on, "Where is the dining room? This place is huge."

Calum said, "Follow me, Miss." We walked for a few minutes until we reached a big door, Calum pulled it open, "here we are, Miss. Have a nice dinner."

I smiled, "Thank you, Calum, have a nice dinner too." I walked into the room, it was a very big room.

Mary smiled, "Hello, Avery. Come here. Have a seat, Darling, don't be shy, I promise we won't bite."

I sat down next to Adam, looking across the table at Alice, she smiled. I smiled back at her.

Randy said, "Now that we are all here let us eat."

The food was delicious. they all asked questions, like, How did you meet Adam? and Where do you go to school? and stuff like that.

After dinner, I took a shower in the luxurious bathroom, I brushed my teeth and passed out on the bed.

And thus, ended my day.

Hope you enjoyed :).
