We're Back Home

Chapter 30

Adam dragged me through crowds of people, I just went along with him. He introduced me to so many people I lost count after the first 15 people he introduced to me.

The good thing was I got to see Jake, Andy, and John again, and that I got to eat food.

By the time the party was over I was exhausted, I slipped off my flats and took off the dress, I carefully took off the wig and places it on the vanity table.

Sighing, I collapsed onto the bed, ugh, I still need to shower and brush my teeth, I rolled off the bed and got to my feet, I walked over to grab my clothes, then I went to the bathroom sighing.

After showering, drying my hair, and brushing my teeth, I grabbed my Kindle and crawled into the bed.

I read for 30 minutes and fell asleep after putting away my Kindle and charging it.

I was woken up by a *Ping* I groaned, rolling over to the bedside table and grabbing my phone, I unlocked it to read the text.

Mark: Hey, are you free on Sunday?

I looked at the time on the top of my screen, it was 12:57 AM. Huh, I forgot New York was 3 hours ahead, sigh. Hmm, Sunday, we are leaving tomorrow, or should I say today because it is currently 3:57 AM right now when we land the time will go back 3 hours so, yeah, I probably do have some free time.

Me: Yep, Avery and I are coming back today, so yeah I have a free Sunday.

Mark: Okay, good.

Me: Why are u asking?

Mark: William, Shane, Alex, and I are planning a boys day, we didn't want to bother u because you were visiting ur family.

Me: Okay, cool.

Mark: So u are coming on Sunday right?

Me: Yep, but where are we going?

Mark: Bowling.

Me: Okay, what time?

Mark: We are meeting there at 2:45 PM.

Me: Okay, I'm gonna go back to sleep now, bye.

Mark: See you on Sunday, bye.

Not texting:

Ugh, I snuggled deep into my blankets, sighing, I slept for a few more hours before...Adam burst into my room accompanied by his brothers, "Okay, Ace, Aiden, and Alec each of us grab an end of the blanket, on 3 we pull, 1 2 3!"

I felt myself getting lifted into the air, oh boy, here it comes.

Adam commanded, "Drop!" Oof, ow, that hurt.

I groaned, rolling abound in the blanket, "Why? Just why? Ugh. Why couldn't you guys just have woken me up the normal way?"

I got up from the floor. They stared at me, "What?"

Adam sighed and pointed to my legs, I looked down at my legs, they were bare and my underwear was almost showing, "Ohh, whoops. Hahaha." I grabbed the blanket from the ground and wrapped it around myself.

I looked up at them, "Dudes, get out! I need to put some pants on."

They all walked out, except for Adam, who said to me, "Wear the skinny jeans you chose the other day. Pack when you are dressed we are leaving in an hour." Then he walked out.

I sighed, grabbing the jeans and put them on.

I looked at the clock, 10:37 AM, our plane leaves at 1:35 PM. I grabbed my things and carefully placed them all into my suitcase, checking the room to see if I had missed anything, then I went to the bathroom. After that, I checked again just to make sure I had packed everything.

I walked past Adam's door, suddenly the door burst open and before I knew it I was yanked into his room.

Adam pointed to his suitcase, "Can you please help me zip it up? Please?"

I shrugged, "Sure."

Adam sat on the suitcase while I tried to zip it up, zip, oof, I fell forward, I failed multiple times before I grabbed the zipper again and yanked it as hard as I could, zzziiiiiipppp, I sighed a big sigh of relief, finally, it was closed.

And then Adam pointed to the other suitcases, sigh, time for a workout.

After about 25 or so minutes of zipping up suitcase zippers, my hands were hurting and I was hungry, so Adam and I went downstairs to have breakfast.

By the time we had finished our breakfast, it was about time to leave. Winston had packed our bags into the car. So we said our goodbyes.

Mary came up and hugged Adam and me, "Darlings, come visit more often, please, I will miss you two very much.

Ace, Aiden, and Alec gave Adam and I awkward hugs with awkward pats on the back, saying to us, "Hope you visit again soon."

Adam's father, Randy gave us each a firm handshake, saying, "Come visit again soon Son and bring your friend over too."

Adam nodded, "Sure, maybe on Chrismas break, right Avery?"

I nodded smiling, "Sure, I have nothing to do anyway."

We got into the car and waved goodbye.

We made it to the airport in 35 minutes, Winston helped us take out our bags from the trunk. Adam had 4 bags and 1 carry-ons, I had 1 bag, plus a small carry-on.

I waved goodbye to Winston and thanked him for the ride, then we went inside and got our seats. I slept the entire ride back home. By the time we got off, it was 3:35 PM here, but in New York, it was about 6:35.

Thomas was already there waiting for us when we got out, I smiled, "Hi, Thomas."

He smiled, "Hello, Sir and Miss, how was the flight?"

Adam shrugged, "Boring, Avery kept on snoring."

I shrugged, "It was okay I guess, wait, I snore?"

Adam grinned, "Yep, it sounded like someone was sawing wood in my ear."

I blushed a little, "Sorry, didn't know I snore."

Adam grinned, "What was that? I think your loud snoring did permanent damage to my ear."

I rolled my eyes, "Oh shut up, Adam." Adam giggled.

Winston took our bags and we got into the car, it took an hour.

Adam opened the apartment door, spreading his arms, "Home sweet home!"

I smiled, "Yep, home sweet home indeed."

And thus, we were back in our home sweet home.
