Working Overtime
Once the call ended, Qi Zheng stared at his phone for a long time. His brow furrowed as he thought about his conversation with Yun Shu earlier.
Somehow, he had a feeling that things were not right on Yun Shu's end.
Qi Zheng heaved a sigh as he recalled that Yun Shu said not to wait for her. Then, he glanced at the clock again and decided that perhaps, he should not mind his business in this.
It was rare for Yun Shu to be working overtime.
She never questioned him when he have to work extra hours. Therefore, perhaps he should not question her as well.
As the thought came to his mind, Qi Zheng began to put his phone down. He walked into the kitchen and rummaged for something to eat. In the end, he took out a bowl of instant noodles and boiled some water.
With the instant noodle in his hand, Qi Zheng walked over to the living room and started to eat his dinner while watching the news.
It did not take a long time for him to finish his meal.
