Chapter 13

As Zarug left, Einar was ready to start the class. He still had some lingering sadness, but he did not mind it, since he needed to grow stronger.

The teacher went over to Einar, and patted his shoulder "Sorry for my arrogance earlier, please forgive me!" He looked at Einar with an apologetic look. He was only sorry because Einar had shown huge potential, but that was just how this kingdom worked. Power over anything.

"Don't worry about it!" Einar didn't really mind, all that mattered was that it was settled now.

"Good!" The teacher looked at Einar with a thankful expression. "I am Almace and welcome to my swordsman class 2-E!" He introduced himself and the class.

"Now, everyone take good care of our new student!" He then turned to the class and told them not to be rude.

Einar went over to the other students and was ready to start the class now. He sat down by a rather ordinary-looking guy. He was neither skinny nor fat, he had no special features on his face. A plain young man.

What surprised Einar, was that this guy didn't seem to have a presence. He had an ice-cold face, showing no emotions either. He felt more like an assassin than a swordsman.

"So, now that everything has settled down, we will continue with the routine!" Almace yelled out.

All the students stood up and grabbed a wooden training sword. Einar had no idea of what was happening, but he just followed what everyone was doing.

When he grabbed the training sword, he was surprised to feel the weight of it. It was heavier than his katana. He did not mind it though, he did have a lot of strength after all.

All the students took the sword, raised it above their head, and swung down. Einar just copied what they were doing, which was an easy movement.

They stood there swinging for around two hours, and Einar had started to feel the pain in his arm. He was sweating buckets. He saw that all of the students around him though did not have any troubles with the sword at all. Only a few of them had a few sweats beads on their heads.

Einar did not want to embarrass himself in front of the class, so he kept going, even with his numb arms.

Everyone in the class could see him struggling, they felt it was quite funny. A swordsman with his power only had this little bit of stamina.

"Einar, it is okay if you need a break! You have not done this routine as the others have!" Almace said, a little disappointed with Einars performance.

"N-No, I ... Don't need *Huff* it!" Einar Had a hard time putting a sentence together. He did manage to get the words out though.

"Okay, suit yourself!" Almace did not feel like arguing with Einar. He would just let him be.

Einar kept going, as the sword-swinging went on for another hour. He had no idea what this would accomplice, but he had to do what the teacher said.

As he kept going for that hour though, he felt the sword becoming lighter and lighter the more he wanted to swing the sword.

It was the same feeling as when he got crazed and started chasing the monster so it couldn't kill the village in that weird world. He knew that this was not the part where it started to hurt, it would only hurt if he wanted to swing the sword harder and faster.

Almace saw that Einar's face was starting to look more natural. He did not have the struggling face he had before. This was quite weird, Almace had not expected something like this to happen. He thought that Einar would dropå out of the routine soon.

"Only one hour before you are done!" Almace yelled out. They had been at it for three hours, even the best students had started to feel more tired.

Einar looked at the teacher, he had started to relax more. He still felt his muscles ache, but they could easily lift the sword still.

After another half an hour, Einar was starting to emit some sort of 'Aura.' It was not the red 'Aura' that everyone had, it was getting darker, starting to turn black.

It surprised Almace a lot, as he had never seen something like this before. He had heard of 'Aura' changing colors, but this meant that it had gotten some sort of attribute.

Like if it was turning golden, you would have more stamina. If it turned green, you would be able to control the will of the plants. If it became bloodred, instead of dark red, it would mean you could steal life force from your opponent.

He had never seen black before. This is something that is quite special, so he had to tell the higher-ups at the academy about this.

"Okay, everyone! The class has ended, see you tomorrow!" Almace yelled as he ended the training straight away. As soon as the words had escaped his lips, he flew away from the training field.

Einar had no idea of what he had just done, so all he could do was look at Almace in confusion.

He didn't know what to do now, since he had been told to attend the class, and then go to Zarugs office. Class ended early though since Almace looked like he had something urgent to do.

He decided that all he could do, for now, was to take a stroll through the academy.
