With the mentor assignments in place, Seraphina, Elara, and Lyra eagerly began their training under the guidance of their respected mentors.
They also left the temporary rooms and took up residence inside their elder's court.
"Here we are," Elder Nyra said with a warm smile, unlocking the doors and inviting Seraphina inside.
The interior was just as awe-inspiring as the rest of the Coven, with elegant decorations and bookshelves filled with ancient scrolls and texts. Seraphina couldn't help but feel a sense of privilege at the thought of receiving guidance from someone so esteemed.
"Make yourself at home, Seraphina," Elder Nyra said, gesturing towards a comfortable seating area. "We will use this space for our lessons and discussions."
"Thank you, Elder Nyra. I'm truly honored to be your disciple," Seraphina replied, a sense of humility and gratitude in her tone.
Elder Nyra smiled warmly. "The honor is mine, Seraphina. I see great potential in you."
Elder Nyra was an embodiment of grace and wisdom. She stood tall and elegant, her presence commanding respect and admiration. Her long, flowing silver hair cascaded gracefully down her back, shimmering with a faint hint of blue in the sunlight. Her emerald-colored eyes held a profound depth, reflecting the knowledge and experiences of a lifetime of cultivation. She was a late-stage Soul-Severance cultivator specializing in ancient seals.
As they settled into the seating area, Elder Nyra began to outline the path of Seraphina's cultivation journey under her guidance.
"I will focus on refining your understanding of the ancient seal formations and their applications," the elder explained. "Your affinity for them is evident, and I believe you have the potential to become a master of this art."
Seraphina nodded, feeling a surge of determination. She had been drawn to the intricacies of seals since she arrived in this world. Now, with Elder Nyra's guidance, she saw the opportunity to delve even deeper into their mysteries.
"Additionally," Elder Nyra continued, "we will work on enhancing your control over Qi and refining your elemental manipulation. A well-rounded cultivator is a formidable force in the cultivation world."
"I will give my best effort, Elder Nyra," Seraphina vowed, her eyes alight with determination.
Elder Nyra nodded approvingly. "I have no doubt that you will. As for your resource allocation, I have taken the liberty of arranging some essentials for you."
With a wave of her hand, a series of scrolls and artifacts materialized on the table before Seraphina. There were books on ancient seal formations, cultivation techniques, and even rare materials for her to practice her seals.
"These scrolls contain ancient knowledge passed down through generations of the Rosevine Coven," Elder Nyra explained. "Study them diligently. You will gain a deeper understanding of our sect's foundations as you go."
Seraphina's eyes widened with excitement as she eagerly examined the scrolls and books.
The resources provided by Elder Nyra were invaluable, and she knew that they would be instrumental in her growth as a cultivator.
"I am truly grateful for your generosity, Elder Nyra," Seraphina said, her voice tinged with gratitude. "I promise to make the most of these resources and strive to become a worthy disciple."
Elder Nyra smiled, her eyes filled with pride. "I have no doubt that you will do us proud, Seraphina. Your determination and talent are evident, and I look forward to seeing you flourish under my guidance."
As Seraphina began her training under Elder Nyra, she immersed herself in the ancient seal formations and cultivation techniques. Her days were filled with rigorous practice, study, and meditation. She practiced diligently, seeking to unlock the full potential of her Qi and refine her control over the elements.
Through their interactions and lessons, Seraphina developed a deep respect and admiration for Elder Nyra. The elder's wisdom, patience, and unwavering dedication to the Rosevine Coven served as an inspiration to her. Unlike her previous world, Elder Nyra did not beat around the bush and was always honest about her ways.
In the moments when they were not engaged in cultivation, Elder Nyra would share stories of the Coven's past and a legendary female cultivator who had walked the same path they now trod.
In the annals of the Rosevine Coven's history, one name stands out as a legendary figure among female cultivators – Lady Evangeline Saphir.
Lady Evangeline was a peerless cultivator whose talent and dedication knew no bounds. From a young age, she displayed an exceptional affinity for Qi manipulation and the art of sealing. Her grasp of cultivation techniques was unparalleled, and she quickly ascended through the ranks of the Rosevine Coven.
Her accomplishments were awe-inspiring. She achieved breakthroughs at an unprecedented speed, effortlessly crossing realms that took others decades to master. As a testament to her mastery, she became one of the youngest cultivators to reach the Godly Ascendancy Realm.
But it wasn't just her strength that set her apart. Lady Evangeline was known for her unwavering commitment to the ideals of the Rosevine Coven – balance, harmony, and the pursuit of enlightenment. She embodied the principles of cultivation, and her influence reached far beyond the walls of the Coven.
Her talents were not limited to combat either. Lady Evangeline was also a renowned scholar and philosopher, penning treatises on cultivation techniques and the profound mysteries of the Dao. Her writings were considered invaluable, and her insights shaped the study of cultivation for generations to come.
Lady Evangeline's name became synonymous with greatness, and her legacy left an indelible mark on the Rosevine Coven. Even after her passing, her teachings and spirit continued to inspire future generations of cultivators, cementing her status as a true legend in the history of the Coven. Rumor has it that Lady Evangeline has left an inheritance around the Coven. But since most of Coven's ancient art is derived from her teachings, most consider this her legacy, and people didn't pursue more.
Seraphina knew more about it since she knew the future. Kael arrives here in the later stages of the novel to seek a seal master for helping one of his wives and accidentally finds a cave due to plot armor. That was the inheritance of Lady Evangeline, but since he was already the heir of the Heavenly Tiger, he arrogantly refused and swore to find someone suitable from one of his wives. Lady Evangeline's spirit did assess them, but none had potential. She got mad at Kael, and her spirit got exterminated by one of his wives.
Seraphina wanted to find the inheritance and become her heir to gain enough power. She did not care about the plot, the mission, or whatsoever. She just wanted enough to be herself and live.
