At the outskirt of the capital, amidst the clearing between the neighboring towns, the road seemed to be empty. In fact, there wasn't any path or green grasses covering the land. It was merely dirt with few patches of grass all the way to the other side of the capital.
It felt a bit suspicious if one were to scrutinize it closely since no trail of carriage wheels or footprints could be seen on the ground. It was too clear yet nobody seemed to cross through this empty land. It posed a question to anyone who didn't know what lied behind this empty mirage.
However, for those who knew, they didn't feel it was weird at all that nobody passed through here because something was hidden amidst this seemingly boring empty land. And it was also the reason why Kalliope had teleported herself into this place.
