As he listened to what Celeste said, his eyebrows slowly raised in ridicule while his lips curled contemptuously upon her confession. He simply couldn't comprehend how her mind worked. He thought she might be smarter than average humans but as it turned out, she was still a part of mundane.
He chuckled without a hint of amusement but instead pure degradation, "I can't believe you really dare to say that luck is a form of power and that you being chosen proves your value."
