The Villain In A Gangster Novel

Alaric Williams, that's the name of the Villainous Detective that later becomes an FBI Agent in a novel I read in my previous life called "The Makings Of A Crime Lord". Well now I am that "Villain". Should I follow the script?

Life's a funny thing you know.

I became the so called Villain in my favorite novel. How did this happen? Well the thing is I died in a plane crash on earth. The death was instantaneous, no time to feel pain I guess. Then the next thing I know I woke up in a Luxurious Hosptial Room inside the body of a 5 year old Alaric Williams which by the way was my name in my former world.

How do I know that I am the Villain in the story I read? Its because I recall reading this event in the novel as a part of the Villain Alaric Williams backstory. Well to me he isn't really a Villain, He is just a guy who hates Crime Lords because one sent a hit out on his father, which got him shot in the head via a sniper while they were out for a drive, which then caused the car they were in to spin out and crash thus resulting in his mother's death and his injuries from the crash. Though because of the plot Alaric got off with a few bone fractures that won't take long to heal.

You might be wondering was the villain's father also a Crime Lord? No, he was not. Alaric's father Quinn Williams was a Prosecutor. A very good Prosecutor whom sent many, many gangsters to prison. So the hit on his life was simple retaliation for sending some gangster to prison.

Which gangster? That's a long list of people but I know who did it because I read the story. The person who sent the hit was the Uncle of the Story's Protagonist. But the person whom was caught was the Protagonist's Father, though he got set up by his brother and he wasn't the one who ordered the hit, he was still dirty enough to be sent to prison for life.

Through this event mutual hate was formed between Protagonist and Villain from a very young age. But why am I the so-called Villain?

That's an easy thing to identify. The novel is called "The Makings Of A Crime Lord". So through the title one can tell the Protagonist will become a Gangster while the Villain will be an Officer of the Law.

I recall the novel's events clearly so I should write them down before I forget. While I was musing the story I heard the door open. When I looked over from the bed I saw this body's Grandfather, Orion Williams. He looked just as he was described in the novel. Though he looked a little haggard at the moment it didn't take away from the fact he had a handsome face with sharp pale blue eyes. When I looked at him, I said one word with a tone one would expect from a Hospitalized child.

"Grandfather"

"Alaric, it's good that your safe". My grandfather said with a concerned expression.

Yes, he had a concerned expression on his face. This concern was very typical in a Villain Backstory. Alaric had a Grandfather whom treasured him due to Alaric being his only descendent left.

Why do I say it's typical? Because most Villains, are well you know Handsome, Wealthy, Intelligent and have family members whom deeply care about them.

In the case of Alaric Williams from "The Makings Of A Crime Lord". He had a Sharp Jawline, Sharp Eyebrows and Short White-Gold Hair with Pale Blue Eyes. Quite handsome. He was quite intelligent as well gaining a college degree by twenty. While the Williams Family were a deeply rooted family in the Commonwealth(The USA of this Planet), Specifically Metropolis City. The Williams Family has extensive history in this world being one of the Old Established Families. While not being particularly wealthy they do net a good amount of money each year from their Ancestors investments in several notable companies.

The Williams Family went in Public Service quite early. Orion's Father was the last Buisness Magnate, He sold most almost everything except the shares in Oil, Shipping and Banks. Then he went into Public Service and eventually became the Secretary of the Treasury. While my Grandfather was an Army Major then a Senator.

There a some more family members that are alive but werent mentioned in the novel. According to this body's memory his Grandfather has a brother whom is an Ambassador to a Foreign Country. This brother has one son whom is a Professor of Finance at Wilmar University in the Captial. This person seems to be called Silas Williams, 35 Years old and has two children. One 5 year old girl and a 3 year old boy. Alaric has memories of meeting them a few twice a year. They seem to be called Edwin and Ellen.

But that's all this body currently remembers about them is just their names and that they have the pale blue eyes a Williams Member should have.

I do have a lot of memories to go sort out, not only memories from my past life, but this current life and future as well. This is should be what I prioritize when I get to Grandfather's house. Though I need to be discharged in order for that to happen. Thankfully the plot gave this body lighter injuries than what that crash should allow, so it won't be too long before I get discharged.

Hmm, I wonder...Should I tear the script apart? Kill the Protagonist Early? Would that be fun? How much would that affect everything?

Seems like I got some scheming to do.

Short Chapter. A Little Over 920 Words.
