A Piece of Her Own Mind

When scandals like this one happens, managers and artists (models/actors) need to work together to clear the waters. Scandals are always there but only a few juicy ones are placed on the limelight. Unfortunately for Luna and Casy, they were the ones who were chosen to be staked.

Casy was already ready to call for a press conference to address the scandal if it got out of control —which she hoped would not happen. Though Casy had full reign over Luna's official social media accounts, she could not just release a response without Luna's consent for they were a team and a team works together.

As Luna was sleeping like a baby it was Lorenzo who answered the call from Casy. In his normal gruff voice Lorenzo answers the phone quite annoyed that the call might have had awakened his wife. Hearing Lorenzo's voice on the other line surprised Casy. "Mr. Khan, may I talk to Luna. It's urgent,"

"My wife is sleeping at the moment so if it is so important, you can just tell it to me,"

"Oh okay, have you Sir checked the internet? Mrs. Khan's name has been trending because of a post by the famous 'Kittykat' that Mrs. Khan is only a social climber and has a big backer —"

"When did this start?!" Lorenzo asks as he checks the trending hashtag containing Luna's name where people where ripping her name to pieces like she was a nobody. His rage surging through his veins making him shake in anger.

Hearing the anger in his voice made Casy scared of even answering his question. "A-about a-an hour-r ago S-sir,"

"And I am just learning about this now!?" Lorenzo dumps his anger at Casy. His voice raises loud enough to be heard outside his office leading his employees to feel fear in their hearts.

Accompanied with his loud cursing awoke Luna from her lovely slumber to a raging gorilla standing right in front of her. "Humh, who are you talking to? Wait! Is that my phone?!"

"It's Casy, here. You talk to her," he then passes her the phone.

Speaking in her still sleepy voice Luna speaks, "Hello? Casy? Are you still there?"

"Yes Miss Luna. I'm h-here,"

As the call went on Casy was able to successfully convey the news to Luna smoothly and clearly without the rage and shouting of a certain Lorenzo sitting beside Luna, silently listening to their conversation. A few more discussions later and they were able to reach an agreement. They were to have a scheduled press conference two days from now.

Both women also agreed that Casy was more capable on posting the details clearly on the official page than Luna, so she was the one to handle that. While Luna's job was to avoid the press at all costs. If the press sees her they would use anything to spin the accusations into reality, like saying something along the lines of 'Luna Walters spotted exiting a luxury hotel probably paid for by her big backer.'

Ending the call Luna warns Lorenzo to drop any thoughts of getting involved in the scandal. This certain 'Kittykat' surely plays little petty games, but he/she must take caution because in a game, Luna's the queen and the rest are the spawns.

Play with fire and your fingers are surely gonna burn.

The internet is a very tricky thing to work with but when you have the people on your side, you will surely win. All she has to do now is to be brave and to look at the enemy straight on the eyes.

"But they said I was old and ugly! They even insulted you! And you want me to do nothing?!" he pouts like a child making Luna smile.(＞人＜;)

"We both know you are the most handsome man in your mind, nothing will ever change that. That ego that you carry is even bigger that this room, don't let some cheap bullies trample all over it— that's my job to do Sweetheart,"

"Meanie! You better be thankful I married you because if not, you'd really regret double crossing me young lady. I'll show you what Lorenzo Khan is really made off— just you wait! I'll make sure you scream loud enough for the whole country to hear, and when that happens lets see who's much stronger," ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

(Press Conference Day)

Luna and Casy were sitting together. Camera flashes flashing in every direction. TV viewers who had nothing to do tuning on.

With a heavy sigh, Luna gives each and everybody a piece of her mind.

"I'd like to start with thanking everybody that gave their time to come here and the viewers watching at home. I just have one thing to ask you guys. If a new teacher is given a higher position than an older one just because, what would you guys think of the person?"

"You guys would most likely say that the teacher was so good that they were given such a promotion, right? So, what is the difference with my situation now? I was simply given a job, the results should already be an exceptional answer," she adds.

Not a noise could be heard from the room filled with reporters. "I do and and will not EVER have a big, old, and ugly backer because with this face, I'll be able to attract any photoshoot I want. Success is when they run to you to take the job not the other way around, so haters can hate but surely my true fans will know the real me," And with those final words, Luna stood up and walked out of the room head held high.

She couldn't change a person's thought of her, but she could give them another perspective. Her plan was very simple.

HE WHO OWNS HIMSELF, WILL CHANGE ON HIS OWN.

She could careless on what the haters say but because she need a leverage on Lilian, Luna has to dive through the mud. With persistence you will get the much wanted results!
