Singing Audition (2)

Damien went to bed after tucking Alicia to sleep but he couldn't sleep properly. he had too much on his mind.

Firstly, how to get Alicia to forget about her mom, the poor girl didn't deserve all this.

Then again he remembered what Simon told him and he became furious.

'What am I gonna do?' He thought as he finally fell asleep.

The next morning, Damien didn't go to the warehouse because he wanted to practice with Alicia who didn't go to school because they had already closed. Alicia was at home practicing her singing with her Dad while Jessica went to work.

Damien was listening to Alicia singing her favorite song in the living room when his phone rang.

"Wait honey." Damien said as he went to the Kitchen and saw the call was from Allison so he answered.

"Damien, Jake is missing" Allison said in a panic tone

"What?! I'm on my way." Damien said as he went to the living room. He knew he couldn't leave the five years old alone at home.

"Come on princess, we have to leave." Damien said and she followed him to his car.

He started driving and stopped at the place Jessica worked.

He went in with Alicia and went to Jessica's office.

She was the HR of a cosmetics production company.

Damien walked into her office and she was surprised to see him with Alicia.

"What are you doing here?" Jessica asked because it was the first time he came to her office since he started doing some mysterious business she knew nothing about.

"I have to be somewhere and I can't leave Alicia at home alone so take care of her." Damien said and she nodded then he turned to Alicia and bent down to her level.

"I'll be back soon to continue our training okay?" he asked and she smiled before he kissed her forehead and left.

He was driving in full speed to his warehouse because if Jake meets his father he could send the cops to them and they will figure out he was the one who blew up the hospital.

While driving, he mistakenly hit a passerby with his car and the man fell down. he held brakes and got down from the car then he went to the man lying lifeless on the floor and he recognized it was Jake. A huge smirk appeared on his face as he took Jake into his car and drove to the warehouse.

When he arrived, Allison was outside waiting for him. he parked his car and carries Jake down to the floor then his men took Jake inside.

"it's a good thing you found him." Allison kissed Damien but he just pulled away when he realized what she did.

"What's wrong?" Allison asked but he ignored her and went inside to where Jake was kept and tied on a bed.

"Make sure you keep your eyes on him. Next time such a thing happen again. I won't forgive you all. " Damien said and his men nodded.

He called a doctor who was part of their Mafia family. The doctor's job was just to take care of any wounded mobster and Damien trusted him not to disclose anything about them to anyone.

Within few minutes, the doctor arrived and checked on Jake.

"He's fine but he has an internal head injury. I can't tell what will happen next but I think he might lose his memory of what happened like two weeks ago or so but not all his memory. We can do another test when he wakes up. " The doctor said and Damien nodded before the doctor left.

"If he can't remember anything from weeks ago. I think it's better if we take him home because he won't remember anything about us" Allison said.

" You're right" Damien said and she smiled

"Are you okay?" Allison asked and he nodded "Yeah"

"Then why did you go when I kissed you. we're dating. " Allison said but he just left again. this time he went to Jessica's office and took Alicia then they went home.

"Okay honey, the big day is tommorow. I know you will make me proud." Damien said while opening the house door and they went in.

" Of course daddy. I'm not longer nervous." Alicia said

" That's my princess. Now let's go shopping after lunch." Damien said and she smiled
