I burst into laughter as I read the article about Arleen.
It was useless but fun at the same time. A good show wouldn't hurt, would it?
Funny enough, I didn't even need to lift a finger.
Could it be that she had other enemies?
Maybe I should align myself with them and teach those two a lesson.
"Oh look at that, poor Arleen stole Clifford from Daphne…." I paused as I looked closely.
At that error, I immediately sat upright as my eyes went wide in disbelief.

Daphne had clearly left Clifford several times for foolish reasons so it was obvious Clifford wouldn't marry her. But the way the article blended everything together told me it was her doing.
She was soiling Arleen's name in the mud so she could take Clifford back by all means, how very smart but stupid at the same time.
