A Not-so-Peaceful Day

'Nice, my dream will finally be fulfilled. I'll finally leave this damned place and live my life freely in another world.'

These were Keiji's last thoughts as he pushed a little kid that was about to get hit by a speeding truck.

*Click* The sound of the door opening was heard.

"Oh, sir, it seems you've woken up, I'll go call the Doctor and your family right away."

A woman, which seems to be the nurse that was taking care of Keiji, entered the room and left immediately after seeing him awake to call the Doctor.

*Ouch*

'Since when does someone get injured after getting hit by truck-kun to get Isekaied.'

Keiji was in pain from the injuries all over his body that he got while trying to save a kid from getting hit by a truck.

'Thinking about it now, did that kid survive or not? Hmmmmm, guess we'll never know for now. I'll look around this room first to get a feel of what this new world is like.'

Walking around the room, he saw that he was in a hospital, which was a given considering his injuries. The hospital room looked very modern almost like his previous world, which made Keiji brim with happiness.

A few minutes passed with Keiji lost in his thoughts.

"All done, from the tests that I just did, it looks like you can be discharged at any time. I'll go infrom your family and prescribe some medication and you're all good."

With that, the white robed man and the nurse left the room.

'There are a lot of weird things that are happening, and I can't seem to follow very well. Let me recall what happed earlier today, so, as any morning, I was returning home after buying some groceries for lunch, I entered the store, kept looking around till I found what I wanted, while I was in the line for the cashier, I saw a very beautiful woman next to me, and she also saw me and kept staring intensely at me, maybe she found me hot *hehehehe*, maybe not, anyways, after I paid and left she wasn't anywhere around so I guess she left, moving on, while I was on my way back I saw a truck speeding in a red light, but before I could curse him on the inside, I found a little girl that wasn't paying attention while crossing that same street, thinking about it now, that girl looked like the woman I saw at the store. That's all I can remember before waking up here.'

'Hmmm, I can't see anything wrong with what happened, it just looks like a typical transmigration cliché to me, so why do I have this weird feeling that something's worng.'

Keiji kept trying to think about an explanation for his weird feeling, but he eventually gave up.

The girl kept weeping while embracing Keiji even more tightly, like she's afraid he will disappear at any time.
