The Unlucky Cards of Fate

A unlucky guy got killed by truck-san on his way home, only to get sucked into what he hated most... his luck. "Eh? Wait, mom, we can talk about this! Don't just put me in a dress!" "Hey dad, I'm your son! At least try to help! Wait, did you just shout out in happiness?!"

Eh? Whats a quirk?

-Approximately 4 Years Later-

Life for Akira had honestly been pretty boring...

He lived in a rather large house and because he was always a home body, almost never left the house.

His parents also had certainly never minded either, in fact, they were happy to see him grow up inside as they always said, "Outside is a dangerous world... maybe when you grow up a bit more! Okay?"

Either way though, he certainly didn't mind the television.

Everyday there was always a fake news segment that featured different heroes.

There were some that sounded a bit familiar like Mirko or even some called All-Might. Honestly to Akira, it didn't make much of a difference. The powers were just awesome!

The weirdest hero he'd have to have seen however was one with tentacles. *Shivers*

You know how you'd think they just be slimy? They were SO much more.

Moving on, Akira had to say he had a pretty good life.

Apparently his parents had pretty good well to do jobs, a civil servant and nurse who served for the elderly.

Anyway, today was a special doctor appointment about an x-ray he had taken last week.

Sitting in the minimalistic hospital room, Kyo's attention was only in one thing.

The DAMN LOADING BAR.

Do you know how it feels to see a loading bar in the corner of your eyes for 4 years?

Akira certainly did, and he could tell you that it was't pleasant.

"Honey! The doctor is gonna come soon, okay? Just wait a little longer." Saya says while holding Akira's hand.

Barely registering her comment Kyo could only nod as the 99% was slowly ticked towards 100.

And just as if fate was at play, as the door of the room was clicked open, the loading bar had finally reached 100.

"Congratulations! Your son is a quirk user!" Says a Doctor with a big smile and clipboard in hand.

'Eh?' Was Akira's only thought until something clicked in his head.

And it was as figurative as it was physical.

His first thought was, 'holy-shit, I'm a dumbass' and his second was "eh?"

Did he say forget to say something? Let him rephrase what that was supposed to mean, 'WHAT THE HELL?!'

It wasn't the fact that he was in My Hero Academia that freak him out. It was the what came next.

[Welcome my host. This is the activation of the Chaldeas Summoning System. In this system, there are no rolls, only the power to regain what you have loss.]

[On the activation of this system, you are allowed to summon two of the previous Servants you have gathered. After two years, you will be permitted to summon once more. Choose wisely.]

And what came next was the servant selection screen which contained all of his previous servants...

Crying with visible tears of happiness, he almost didn't realize the worry on his mother's face.

"Akira! Honey! Whats wrong? You have a quirk! Isn't that good news?!" His mother holding him by his cheeks as she looked into his tearful eyes.

Akira shaking his head and wiping his tears, said "No! I'm more than happy mom!"

Saya smiling said no more as she just held her boy in a warm hug.

Akira on the other hand, used the moment to choose his favorite servants.

[Host, please select a favorite servants to set.]

And with one last thought did just that.

Then as he confirmed it, his stature became ever so slightly shorter.

Saya barely registering the change, looked down only to spot a pair of blue eyes... "eh?"
