Something is drawing her into the forest

"Did you hear that?" She asked him.

"I only heard you." He said, confused.

"I heard something, it sounded like an animal."

"This is the forest Braelyn, there are animals everywhere, you just need to listen at any time to hear that."

"But that's just it, I haven't heard a single animal since we got here until now, and this sounded like a baby animal, like one that is lost or hurt, didn't you hear it."

"I didn't hear anything." He said turning his head to point his right ear towards the trees she was looking at and his face towards Braelyn's face. "Now that you mention it, I don't hear anything besides us, no wind in the trees, no insects, no animals, not even birds. This is so weird." He said nervously.

"There it is again." Braelyn said excitedly as she took off running into the tree, away from town.
