Haruki's arrival in America filled him with excitement as he embarked on a new adventure and experience on both lives. He reached his father's friend's mansion and rang the doorbell. The door swung open, revealing a towering figure in Nike attire from head to toe. The 6'2" man greeted him with a firm handshake and introduced himself. Hey kid, im kyrie.... kyrie irving, Haruki's favorite basketball player. Haruki's eyes sparkled with admiration. Kyrie mentioned that Haruki's father had spoken highly of him and told him, "Hope you live up to the hype kid." They agreed to head inside, with plans for a practice session later. Haruki grinned, eager to showcase his skills.
A FEW HOURS LATER
--------------------
Arriving at the practice location alongside Kyrie, Haruki found himself surrounded by famous NBA players like Kevin Love, LeBron James, Tristan Thompson, and more. It felt as if he had been transported to the time when the Cleveland Cavaliers were at the peak of their success. Haruki couldn't help but marvel at the opportunity.
They began with warm-up exercises, and despite Haruki's inherent peak physical condition due to his abilities, he decided to participate to avoid revealing his true capabilities. During warm-ups, Haruki observed and analyzed the moves of every NBA player present.
As the warm-up session concluded, Haruki grabbed a basketball and issued a challenge to Kyrie for a 1v1 matchup. Kyrie chuckled and questioned whether Haruki believed he was good enough to take on a professional player. Haruki replied confidently, "I guess we'll see about that." With the ball in his possession, he prepared to make his move.
Haruki initiated the game by dribbling the ball with his right hand and then executed a lightning-fast drive towards the net. He noticed a slight falter in Kyrie's center of balance, seizing the opportunity to pull off a snatch-back move. Kyrie wasn't prepared for Haruki to halt so suddenly. As Haruki initiated an ankle-breaking move, Kyrie tumbled backward, landing on the floor. In the ensuing silence of the gym, all that echoed was the sound of a swish as Haruki's shot hit the mark.
The court soon erupted in cheers from the other players, who couldn't hide their astonishment. Haruki grinned at Kyrie and teased him, "So, how was that?" Kyrie acknowledged Haruki's talent and said, "You really are something."
It was now Kyrie's turn to demonstrate his skills. Dribbling the ball with his right hand, he initiated a crossover and began moving towards the right wing. Haruki maintained tight defense, almost flawlessly guarding Kyrie. As Kyrie prepared to take a shot, he faked it, causing Haruki to jump. However, Haruki had a trick up his sleeve. Instead of jumping, he stood on his tiptoes, cleverly anticipating Kyrie's move.
Kyrie, unaware of Haruki's trick, attempted to drive past him to the hoop, initiating an underhand layup. In the blink of an eye, Haruki appeared and attempted to block the shot but missed stunning Kyrie because he thought he faked him with the half hesi move. Drawing inspiration from the famous basketball player Blake Griffin, Haruki utilized the rim to spin around and blocked the ball with his right hand. The gym reverberated with the sound of a loud slap as the block left Kyrie in disbelief.
Haruki couldn't help but comment, "It ain't gonna be that easy." The intense 1v1 matchup continued, leaving everyone in the gym captivated by the young talent's skills.
