CHAPTER 6: GAME

Hiro POV:

It's just a practice, Loki" as I gave my sarcasm expression.

Loki calmed down while she crossed her arms beneath her chest and averted her gaze on me.

"you should have said earlier it's a practice . Take it seriously. if you want me to play seriously" Loki said with a bit of anger.

"Tsk.. don't underestimate me . Let's start" I served my ball up to the direction of Loki and She also returned it. I went to the right and lower  my  racquet and hit the ball which bounce back to her. After she gets the ball. There was a strength. So I also caught this until we get ten returns and we still didn't have a score yet. It can be seen the two of our faces becoming intense and stressed. Our play is a  mixed of an Intense and exhaustion.

The audience keep cheering and gave a different loudly voices. Their voices is too crowded and most of them gets excited.

When she caught the ball and she immediately hit it back hardly. I focused the returning ball even in a far distance. I would catching it but I hit the ball on the frame of my racquet. The sounds also made it crack and can seen the bounce doesn't make it good.

"First point to Loki!! "The referee said.

" Go Loki !!!! "Loki's friend shouted.

" Go darling… you can do that !! " Exciting shout of the foreigner who is really  addicted to Loki

 Tsk..  we are just starting to play .. don't have fun There" I murmured.

 Hiro Kun! GO! GO! GO! .. Hiro Kun !!! " As usual fan girls cheered me and only I gave my bright smile to them .I back to my intense look to our game . I served the ball hardly as I holding tightly my racquet.

 And at the same time ,I double smash the ball from down to upward and then  hit  the right direction to her and she followed it to the right. On the fifth time, when I served, she didn't able to return and it's  hit the railing metal of net between us.

" First Point to Hiro! "  referee placed number 1 points on the board.

30 minutes ago, she had 10 points and mine had ninth points

"Changing position "said the referee. The two friends of Loki gave me a scornful look. I gave them a wicked smile  same as my eyes .

When I served the ball in the first turn in the second match, I accidentally smashed the ball on the face of a  foreigner lover who was with Loki .

I just gave a signifying peace with the foreigner and looked at me very badly but when Loki approached him, he changed his facial expression like a gentle pet.

 "Loki .. you should win for me" Said the foreigner with blonde hair.

 "Take Louise to the clinic first"

 Loki worried while talking to Polly.

 Polly bring Louise going forward to the clinic.

Loki looked at me and said "Don't play dumb, Hiro Kun."

 "I didn't mean to hurt him ,okay ?" I smiled awkwardly  and We both continued to play badminton.

She served the ball upwards as high distance and looks in the left direction. So I decided to go the left side  but the ball is going to the right. Then , I ran in instant to the right . Damn this woman is deceiving me with her techniques.

I immediately returned and she jumped high. She hits the ball and headed it on my direction. I could see the ball was fast and slowly and  slowing down going through my position. I gave a strong swing smash with my racket. Loki caught up as if she just dancing a waltz. Her foot keeps moving and stamping without even feeling tired.

The woman obviously has experience but it can be seen on her face even though it is intense, it is obvious that she is not happy to join the badminton club.

Just curious why she didn't want to join here..  despite she had good reflexes

I went on the direction where the ball was going to fall near the net and I hit it with the tightness of the grip on my racket. I was struck hard as My two legs were bent and jumped forcedly upward  and smash it back to her.

Upon returning the ball. She caught it immediately in the right direction and hit it back through my direction which was the ball as high and far away. The ball can be seen as fast as a flash so my unpleasant smash, resulted in a score for Loki.

Damn.. looks like I will be defeated.

 "Have you given up yet? "Loki asked. Her smile seemed to be happy to play with me.

"Hmm .. why would I give up .. it's like I said I'm going to lose to the woman"

 "just return the shoes so there's no such useless game then " she said.

"Just say sorry" I said as I held the racket tightly with My two hands and my back was bent a little Including my thigh that was bent hardly. Seriously waiting for Loki to serve the ball.

 "Sorry? For what ? What did I do to make you so mad at me? She asked with confused expression.

"You don't remember .. I was in front of the restaurant and you kicked my milk tea and you suddenly disappeared, while you hugged your foreigner!" I muttered and waited The ball from the above of the net and hit it as I lowered the racket and smash it again on my second serve.

"I don't remember anything .." she said as deliberately returned the ball in my direction and I blocked with a racket and hit the ball as light.

"Damn..  how could you remember when you having lovey dove with your foreigner lover"

"What lover !? Who ?? "She shouted as her  face formed into reddish.

" I don't have a lover .. you're not just a troublemaker but you're also good at making up stories! "

"You're still crazy .. you hugged an unknown man for your simple amusement"

"WHAT ?! WHAT DID YOU SAY? "she hit the ball hard on me with a resentful face and she suddenly stunned at a moment.

" So that means… it's true huh? " I asked but she didn't speak anymore and her expression changed and she suddenly seem to faint as if she saw a ghost .

"Looks like we have competition here , coach " a voice from a senior student.

I heard The Voice behind me that was a familiar voice of Jen. He was a senior student who used to be a badminton player. He is busy watching our game as he crossed his legs as if he felt amazed. Senior Jen taught me how to be good at badminton. Shame on me if I defeated from the woman.

"Sir, Jen. Look clearly at my game, I will beat her and I will replace your High position. "I said with a sarcasm and pride.

"Enough with the  arrogance .. be serious in your game" he said with irritated face and gave a serious gaze

I'm back focusing the game and became serious.

9 points that we already have same scores.  Just one fall for the ball then I will win.

I hit the ball and she immediately returned it to me until we both have five returns  but in a few moments, she threw the ball as she jumped high and then, her legs slipped to the ground and it caused her to lost conscious, I rushed to her direction and gave a panic face then, called her name repeatedly.

"Loki… Loki !! Loki !! Damn you.. wake up Loki !!! "
