Strength of Cosmos

"Fire Bolt!" Marios shot the condensed fire and lightning on his palms at Orpheus.

Orpheus immediately cast shadow teleport to evade the fire bolt and appeared in the midst of the horned gorillas

~Shit! This is one thing I hate about this skill~ he cursed as one of the gorillas swiped a palm at him with the intention of crushing him to the ground. He immediately raised his two blades in a cross shaped manner to block the strike.

*Pang*

A figure was sent flying out of the crowd of gorillas and landed flat on his face.

~Damn! Are these guys really 1-star beasts? My arms are already numb from that attack~ Orpheus stood up from the floor and rubbed his arms.

He jumped into the air and executed a flame sword slash, sending two sword waves at the horde of gorillas, eliminating a little of them. Unknown to him, Marios appeared behind him and waved his hands at him, making him to fall to his face again.

~This damn gravity element! ~ Orpheus grunted as he tried to get up from the ground.

He immediately cast shadow teleport to leave the gravity field and appeared behind Marios. Leaving him with no time to react, Orpheus threw a punch at him but was stopped by the two-horned gorilla.

"Give it up. With these guys by my side, there's no way in hell you can touch me" Marios said

[I got it! I finally got it!]

~Stop yelling in my head, man. You're gonna make me go crazy~ Orpheus shook his head ~What did you get? ~

[Chaos has the ability to make monsters lose their mind, right?]

~Where are you going with this? ~ Orpheus jumped backwards to put some distance between him and Marios.

[You're holding a weapon made of a chaos gem, you fool. Extract the energy and put it in those apes]

~You sure it's going to work? ~ he stared at Khaos intently

[Just try, stupid]

Orpheus tried to put his energy into the blade and felt a jolt of electricity. Khaos began to suck the dark element energy and the fire element energy into the gem at its center.

~Uh- What's going on? ~ Orpheus panicked as rate at which the energies left his body increased.

Seira, the white blade, began to glow in a very faint white light, barely visible to the human eyes as energy from it began to flow into Orpheus' body.

"What's wrong with him?" Mr. Stylianos wondered as Orpheus was deeply engrossed in his blades, unknowingly stopping the duel.

"What the-" Marios' eyes widened in shock as the energy Orpheus was emitting increased drastically to the point that the ground beneath him began to crack slightly.

~Man, I feel like I could beat Zeus right now ~ Orpheus smiled as he savored the energy flowing within him.

[The hell, mate! You didn't have to exaggerate like that!]

The black sword in Orpheus' hand released an energy burst as a black flame began to flicker on its blade while releasing a menacing aura.

"What?! Blade awakening?!" Mr. Stylianos burst out in surprise "No, it's not blade awakening. It's something much similar. What did he do?"

The gorillas began to shrink in fear after feeling the intense aura emerging from the black sword. Even the students at the frontline of the audience began to sweat profusely. Some with weaker mental fortitude fainted from the pressure, confusing those at the back.

"What's going on over there?"

"The students at the front said that Orpheus began to emit some ominous aura that affects the mind"

"Wha- I thought that the instructors are putting up a barrier"

"It's to be expected. The barrier can only stop stray elemental attacks and shockwaves but not attacks that assault the mind"

"Has he always been that strong?"

Orpheus gripped tightly on his swords and immediately disappeared from his position, appearing before a horned gorilla. He instantly swung Khaos towards its neck at lightning speed.

The gorilla tried to react by retreating but found its vision inverted. Orpheus looked at the headless ape laying on the floor beside and shifted his gaze to the ones before him. The gorillas stared at Orpheus in fear and began to back up but were stopped by Marios.

"I don't know what you did to get that instant kill, but it won't work the second time" he wore a smug look on his face and commanded the gorillas, including the two-horned gorilla to go after Orpheus.

"Ya think?" Orpheus snared as he put the white blade in his shadow before gripping Khaos with both hands. He immediately raised the sword above his head and swung it down before the gorilla army.
