Sora looked at his statue's window for some time, it has been hours since he entered this space, and within this time he had the fire elemental slighter many slimes. the fire elemental was a level 87 summon, it was indeed powerful.

but even so, Sora only gained enough XP to reach level 7. this was because the stronger he becomes, the less XP he would get from monsters of a weaker level. the monsters within a 1-star dungeon only had levels from 1 to 15,

Sora has been within the dungeon for hours, yet he at most ran into level 7 monsters, just because they were of the same level didn't mean they would give enough XP for Sora to level up. otherwise, this would have been too easy,

Sora had collected 5,900 EP from killing the slimes, enough for him to pay off some of the debt he had collected. Sora wanted to go to a 2-star dungeon, but that would cost 10,000 EP, something's was hesitant about doing as a 2-star dungeon held monsters ranging from level 16 to 40,

he would need time to summon an elemental, and thanks to how weak Sora was, he needed at least 10 minutes, within this dungeon he had the animal undead to block the slime and allow him to summon the fire elemental, so there was no trouble here.

"it's getting boring," Sora said lazily while sitting on the fire elemental shoulder, although the fire elemental shoulder was on fire, the fire elemental made sure it didn't burn Sora. it also cast many defensive spells on Sora,

currently, they were heading deep into the forest, one should know with the power of the fire elemental, slimes just turned to dust upon getting near it. the only reason the fire elemental bothered to attack was that some slimes were far away, and Sora had ordered it to kill all slimes it sees.

{host, you have only been within the dungeon for 30 minutes, as you have noticed, the deeper you're going, the rarer it is to stumble upon level 1 slimes,} the system said as Sora shrugged, sure it was hard, and harder to stumble upon such slimes, but just how big was his dungeon? why can't he stumble upon any slimes at level 10 or higher?

he would need to kill thousands of slimes just to collect 1 XP now, meanwhile, he needed 1,000 XP to level up to level 8, at which point he would leave this world and go on to learn those tier 2 spells, tomorrow he would try and learn others spells.

Sora went on to order the fire elemental to ignore the flames below level 5, and with that, the movement speed more than doubled. they rushed deeper into the forest, where they found a cave on the side of a mountain,

entering the cave, Sora felt the fresh air within this cave, looking around he saw that slams where were far stronger, some seemed to be at level 8 and higher. but they all turned to dust when they neared the fire elemental.

and so the slaughter communities, Sora XP bar which has been moving slowly began to pick up speed. in no time, in a few minutes Sora was at level 8, and so on until it stopped at level 10 when the car-sized slime boss was turned to has by the fire elemental,

Looking at the improvement in his strength, Sora went on to leave this dungeon, reappearing back outside. Sora thought for some time while looking toward the location of the hidden leaf, before looking at his abilities. he thought for some time before he sat down, not knowing what to do.

'well... this is a paradox, I want to 'live', but living means I could die. if bringing suffering to others can make me live, yet at the same time could lead to my death... sigh, what can I do with this childish body of mine? I should wait. I'm all into destroying people's lives.' Sora thought as he looked at his hands,

Sora didn't know when, but he loved making people suffer the say way he had suffered, making their life which was once so perfect be turned down before their eyes. he wanted to see everyone's life fall apart, piece by piece. little by little, he wanted them to go through the same pain he went through... at least then it would not be so lonely.

"Sora!" a childish voice sounded behind Sora, catching Sora's attention, turning around Sora saw a little red-haired girl who had a bag on her back running towards him. Sora's head tilted to the side in confusion seeing this little girl running towards him.

from the former host's memories, Sora knew this little girl was a kid sister to him and wanted to come with Sora to the hidden leaf to become a ninja along with Sora. but Sora knowing it was dangerous left without telling her,

"I can't believe you left me behind, but you can't get rid of me that easy." She said while catching her birth, Sora was like a little sister to her. the same village they were from, not many people liked Sora, making Sora grow up to become a cold person. but she was different. Sora's mother and this little girl's father were close friends.

Sora's mother helped her father out, and in the time where Sora's father left, Sora's mother and this little girl's father became close. sadly, Sora's mother passed away, leaving everyone heartbroken and Sora a bit colder.

{host, no one is watching. you could do all kinds of things to her to get EP.} the system said while watching the little girl taking deep breaths while standing before the sitting Sora. Sora tilted his head to the side, a smile slowly growing on his mouth only for it to disappear

"go back," Sora said calmly as he stood up and began heading towards the hidden leaf village, but the little girl ran up quickly catching up to Sora. Sora looked at her slightly, she had a look that said, 'i'm going to follow you, what are you going to do about it?'

'system what is these feeling?' Sora asked calmly while ignoring her,

{intreasting host, the thought of killing her brings life back into the host's dead self, but in return, you can't bring yourself to hurt her due to the memories you have of her. you want to, but you're not the same person when alive. of course, the host can ignore such power through this and do it.} the system said making Sora tilt his head in confusion,

'my humanity is dead, the feelings I have for her are enough to bring back my humanity when I want to kill her. enough for the memories I have of her to overwhelm almost this cold unfeeling state.' Sora thought while looking at his hands for some time.

'...' Sora didn't say anything, this was another paradox, what could he do about this? so he just ignored it, he wanted to make this girl leave him, but he realize it was not that easy. she was his elder sister, and in her eyes, she was protecting him by following him. how could she, the elder sister let her little brother walk alone?

Their journey went on, they were somewhat far from the hidden leaf, but after a few hours, they arrived before the village. walking up through the village entrance, they were called over to the side by two shinobis who were watching who came and left the village.

they went on to give their information and why they came to the village, after making sure nothing was off, they were allowed to head towards the academy where they would take the exam to enter the academy

not just anyone could enter, not everyone was built to be a shinobi, so they went to the academy where a teacher went on to take care of them. they were given the exam, which had a few basic information they had to fill out.

with everything done, they had to wait to see if they were accepted into the academy, which would open next week. they arrived on the last day this was opened, but they did everything they could do and now had to wait. if they failed, they could try again next year

before coming Sora had brought money, so he simply used the money to buy a place to stay. if he could enter the academy, the village would help him out until he graduated from the academy, So, Sora and the little girl Hana began living together.
