Revenge

"Hello auntie, Hello uncle."

The girl bowed as she greeted the two elders earning a satisfied nod from them.

"You shouldn't be moving around my daughter, you must take care of the baby."

Mother Chen switched to her controlling mode already as she held her hand and led her to sit down on the nearest couch as her husband nodded in approval.

"Thank you auntie." Anna smiled brightly but deep down she was busy cursing over the woman's behaviour but of course there was nothing she could do.

"Where is the rest of your family Anna?" Mr Chen asked as he ran his eyes around the venue.

"No worries uncle, they will be here in a few minutes."

Anna replied although she was also not sure what she was supposed to do knowing she did not get along with them.

Some distance to the venue, a large limousine was parked and inside were the five families as the grandmothers and mothers planned for their children who could do nothing but just shake their heads.
