Do not cross my line

The next morning, something happened that no one expected. With Jane's image, no one expected her to actually come out and personally clear things. What excited the gossipers was the fact that Jane Lu's weibo account which was rarely used suddenly came to life.

In her account, Jane took her time to communicate, not bothering to hide the mockery, disappointment and threat in her tone. Additionally, she did not bother to hide the shade she was throwing at the couple.

As much I am exposed to the media every day of my life, I despise being the centre of discussion especially in a disturbing and irrelevant topic. In regards to my previous relationship, I believe that by now, you all are aware of what transpired.

I, Jane Lu, have no intention of keeping a man whose loyalty is divided. Replying to Anna Lu's statement claiming I stole her man, I would like to remind you to watch where you are stepping and do not cross my line. My lawyers are are just a phonecall away.

On this beautiful, fulfilling morning, I hereby declare that I have no relationship with the Young Master of The Chen family. Any additional news created out of this issue, will personally invite my lawyer. A blessed day to you all.'

She said it all! The undisputed queen said it all! Jane had millions of fans on her account because of her position in the society, and how much she was an inspiration to young girls out there. Nicknamed the queen, she truly was an example of beauty and brains.

Considering how no nonsense she always was, the people understood that she was truly pissed off, for her to address the issue.

Her post was immediately liked, the comment section being full of supportive girls, mothers, grandmothers and even young masters. It was finally confirmed that Edward Chen cheated on his fianceé with her step cousin!

Media companies were crazily reposting her post because this was big news! Enough to guarantee them some good traffic.

Different young masters from different families were openly displaying their happiness. She was back to being single! They could finally chase her! Most of them couldn't help but mock Edward because he clearly exchanged a diamond for a dirty rock. 

In Chen enterprise, things were not good as they were a week ago since their stocks were suddenly plummeting. Some even started selling their shares but whoever bought them was still unknown to Edward. Any clever person could decipher that the break-up between the two wasn't peaceful and between Edward and Jane, they'd rather ditch the Chen Enterprise. All they were trying to do was not get on Jane's bad side.

In the country, there were only two business giants. Jane Lu and Liam Yang. Crossing paths with either was not something anyone wished.

The shareholders had to call for a meeting because they believed a dishonest person will always be a dishonest person. If he can barely stay loyal in a relationship, what then might happen to the company? His leadership skills were all of a sudden questionable. Furthermore, their greedy selves couldn't stand loosing the support of Jane Lu. How were they going to hold up their faces before everyone else? 

Therefore, they selfishly gave him until noon to solve the issue at hand, failure to which, they would choose another CEO.

Edward was in a total dilemma! Jane is his woman but why is she behaving in such a manner? Why are the shareholders against him for her? He couldn't understand. He asked for forgiveness, tolerated her slaps too! 

"No. This cannot go on. I have given her enough freedom and now, she is playing with it!" 

At that moment, his train of thoughts was interrupted by his assistant, Flora.

As she came in, one could tell immediately spot her beauty and curves. Just the right amount to make a man stop and stare.

She cleared her throat before reporting in a coquettish voice.

"Sir, Miss Lu has issued a statement claiming she has nothing to do with you. She has publicly cut ties with you."

She then passed the tablet to him for him to check Jane's post.

Bang!

He loudly banged the table, seething in anger as his narrowed slightly.

"Fine! If this is what Jane wants then I will make her feel jealous to no ends. Flora, releasing a statement clarifying that I am dating that stupid girl, Anna Lu and stress on the fact that we are about to be engaged." He told his assistant as his lips curled up in victory. 

He was positive that Jane was going to reach out once she sees his reply. He was sure that she made that post out of spite and that she was going to eventually run back to him, her tail tucked between her legs in defeat!

Flora was disappointed but did not show it. She turned around and seductively swayed her hips, hoping to catch Edward's attention.

She was dressed in a very tight, short skirt that had a slit at the back showing off her thick thighs. She paired it with a tight blouse. One look at her and one would think her chest was about to burst.

As she turned around, Edward finally noticed her dressing and how she walked. "Flora", he called her, his voice sounding a little heavy.

Once she turned around, he carefully sized her from head to toe and resumed his words, but with a sickening smirk on his face.

"After you are done, come and serve me. You seem to have tried so hard to please me." 

Flora eyes widened as she immediately understood his words. She nodded her head shyly and turned around. 

'Ha! Anna Lu, Jane is finally out of my way to become Mrs Chen and now you? Tch! He cannot even resist my body while you're away, you are not even important to him, he even called you foolish! Oh happy dayyy...'

She happily spoke to herself as her delusional self started imagining life as Mrs Chen. Being able to climb the social ladder has always been her goal. After all, she comes from a middle class family.
