A day after the earth-moving conversation with Davide, Cathy finds herself in between corridors. She wasn't surprised when Davide came back and told her that Luigi has allowed her to move freely, instead of being caged like always. After all the dealings of this dark world, she knows better than to not read between the lines. It's second nature.
As she continues walking towards the infirmary, a jolt bolts into her spine. The reminder her mind clutches onto - Thirteen days until Nathan is thrown into the sea, never to be seen again. She tugs her hair back, calming herself with the newly acquired information that Davide furnished. The next stop after Sweden is Serbia, where they will be meeting with Bojan.
With the ticking of the clock evident, and death feeling imminent, the idea of visiting countries like Serbia does not fill her with dread anymore. There are bigger fish to fry.
She draws closer and closer to her destination.
