Tricks of the trade
Running into Zaphounds was something every Scrapper wanted to avoid. However, Zaphound encounters had become quite frequent over the last few months. One had to be wary of these robots even during the Silent Hours.
The sisters had had their fair share of close calls with Zaphound packs, but they had never confronted Galvatrons before. These wolf-like machines were larger than Zaphounds and had gold-plated armor segments covering their frames. Unlike Zaphounds, they did not rely entirely on close-ranged attacks, since they came equipped with shoulder-mounted miniguns.
What made the Galvatrons especially difficult to deal with was their shielding ability. It was common knowledge among Scrappers that Zaphound packs led by Galvatrons were extremely well-coordinated.
The sisters kept their hands steady on their hoverbike handlebars. Their eyes were fixed on the Zaphound pack in front.
