Staircase Tragedy
The driver dropped off Luna in front of the cafeteria where she had arranged a meeting to catch up with Xiou Feng as her initiative to treat him to lunch for their successful mission of thwarting Ana's plan.
She checked on her mobile phone to read a message from that young man telling her of his lateness because of his job and her forehead wrinkled in a question at that text he delivered; did he still work on the weekend?
The visitors thronged the cafeteria; this place was super popular, so it was massed with people during lunch hours. And more people entered the entrance once Luna found herself at the table she had booked.
By the window was where Luna settled in a seat with her face down on the table and her hands leafing through the menu book; one of the food that made her mouth water stopped her from the search and she waved at the tall waiter in white and black uniform to order it.
