Miscarriage
It was like thunder hollered in her eardrums when the doctor announced her miscarriage, the risk Luna had to bear of escaping the thugs who chased them; whoever they were, they must have worked under someone's order and the people who had the heart to do that obnoxious deed were either Ana or her mother-in-law, Sandra. With no evidence, none of them she shall have any prejudice against, their past wickedness toward her didn't guarantee that they deserved her accusation of the disaster Luna was experiencing.
Luna felt devastated at the fact of her forfeiting her precious child whom she even had no chance to welcome into her harsh world; her tears of sorrow welled inside her eyes and flowed down her pale cheeks. Despite the doctor's effort of strengthening her, she was unable to ease her apprehension, not to mention to obliterate the woes in Luna's gaze.
