Break Up
The wheelchair with Luna on it rolled through the floor and took the right turn in the corner of the hall toward Luna's ward. Reaching the door, Luna thanked Felix for taking her outside of the sultry room before he drove the wheelchair into the ward; spending time in the park could refresh her mind. That man just smiled as a response; for him, it was Luna's happiness that mattered.
After all the time they had spent together over the last few weeks, she filled the special space in his heart. Her rectitude, sincerity, tenacity, and independence, charmed him and made her different compared to other girls or women he had ever met in his life. He had vowed to himself to protect her even though it would cost his own life.
"Felix…did you buy the food and drink and put them on the table?" Luna enthusiastically asked after discovering two packages of sandwiches and two bottles of mineral water. He would not have noticed the food if Luna hadn't told him as he drowned in his thoughts.
