A Letter from His Father
Under Luna's questioning stare, Danish controlled his emotion of attempting to convince her about his status as her husband, the one whom she had shared her life with for almost a year.
"It's fine if you don't recognize me yet. But, I am here to pick you up." Despite his gloomy eyes, Danish strove not to show his disappointment before the woman he loved; he gestured to ask her to follow his lead. "This way," he pointed to the path they would go through.
As if being hypnotized by his modesty, Luna's feet in surrender tracked his pace out of the arrival hall toward the car outside; they got into it.
In the car, to avoid conversing with Danish, Luna looked out of the window and let the solitude freeze her tongue not to produce any words.
"I will send you to your apartment; your other is waiting there."
To break her silence, Danish chose the random subject of the talk; he indeed had purchased an apartment for Luna behind his grandma's back.
