GRIFFITH'S POV

Isaac and I tried to run to the priest and Aldric but almost immediately, we were stopped by Viktor's knights. There were so many of them and they blocked us from reaching them.

It was Aldric and the High priest that went toe to toe against Viktor, whilst Isaac and I handled the knights that kept on coming in droves from the castle gates. Our knights quickly went and began to fight against them as well.

 

"Try not to die this time," Isaac said to me as we fought beside one another.

 

"The High priest is here for that, in case that happens," I joked.

 

I desperately wanted to help Aldric and the high priest but the knights just kept on coming, there was no end to them. Our mere 50 knights weren't enough to handle the 100's of them, I thought to myself as I watched some of them fall to the ground in defeat. If this continued they would be completely wiped out.
