The entire hallway was in still motion. Everyone was frozen in actions they were doing and there was no sound to be heard.
“Oh, my great aunt Petunia! This is amazing!” Su Lian exclaimed. She moved gracefully like a butterfly, fluttering around the time-frozen people and scrutinizing everything about them; from the warmth of their skin, how heavy they were, and if their limbs or clothing could be moved.
She was so immersed in her fantasy wish being true that she forgot about the person who actually did this ‘magic trick.’ Her thought process was already on the path of wondering how ‘magic’ works on Earth.
